I don't think Jerma got financially burned by Offbrand other than maybe that's what he was leaning on for financial stability post stream retirement. Now that it went tits up, he might have to rethink his streaming plans because he doesn't have a job anymore that could have been providing him with things like retirement and healthcare benefits that he has to pay for out of pocket again. If I remember, Jerma has back issues which is why he talks about being in pain and was something that I think he always dealt with but has started getting worse and it probably is stressful for him being in constant pain and needing to pay for things like physical therapy. It also explains his breaks because he genuinely does need to stretch after sitting down for a while as part of his PT, the dude is almost 40 after all. I hope him scaling back in the scope of his streaming gives old Jerma vibes before everything had to be a big bit or spectacle. I really enjoy his commercial streams and was happy to see him do more because they're pretty entertaining and he likes them because they're probably easy.
Also tinfoil hat Andy theory, but maybe his gambling addiction has gotten the best of him. Nobody just moves to Vegas because "gambling is fun".
