'The People' are often retarded, and the idea that direct democracy would fix the American government is ridiculous. Some of the worst trampling of rights (Sedition Act, Espionage Act, Patriot Act) had huge groundswells of public support behind them and the Court stood in the way of some of their worse excesses, stood against a mad public screaming for the government to take their own rights away.
Roe v Wade lasted longer than Prohibition and cost nobody's career. You can easily do whataboutism. But that doesn't negate the core issue. The people can be wronged by the courts, are often wronged by the courts and there is no way to make it right outside of waiting for the court to die of old age and slightly better people to take power. There is just as much recourse against the Judicial as there was against king George. Mob rule may be worse but I am not arguing for mob rule. I am simply pointing out the injustice and the fact that you can't keep going like that forever.

Ever been to a jeet-run McDonald's?

They don't clean the bathrooms.
They don’t use the bathrooms. They have their shitting street out back in the parking lot where they go and try to scam the homeless when they’re on their break.

Why in the world would they clean the bathrooms when they never go in there?

This continual inference by Democrat judges is starting to worry me.

Not what they are doing, I expected nothing less after the Democrats were wiped out in the election so it would be natural for them to use the last lever they have control over to try to stop whatever Orange Man Bad was doing but rather what will happen when Trump and Congress take steps to reign them in. The current Democrat Party is in the final stage of TDS so to expect them to act like rational adults is pure copium.

This is a very delicate situation that will have major ramifications going forward. Now I highly doubt the SCOTUS will rule in any way that will limit or diminish judicial authority, it would be silly to expect a judge to agree to limit their own power as judges are still people after all so this will have to be done through the Congress. Which won't be easy as while Trump has the support of the people the Machine is still firmly and totally against him in all things. Getting anything that diminished the power of the Uni-Party will be a massive struggle and probably won't happen.

I don't want the Trump to have to break the system to get his agenda done as that will just leave the US vulnerable to the next Democrat POTUS to go whole hog and rule via fiat and then we have no systematic way to stop him outside of violence as impreaching a POTUS is never going to happen and now the courts are neutured so what does that leave but violence?

That path leads to runiantion so we need some sort of comprimise but again these Democrats have ternimal TDS and are willing, even eager, to burn the US institutions to the ground if that's what it takes to stop Orange Man Bad.

It's a shitty shitty situtation and the Democrats have no one to blame but themselves for it.
We're in the period of an empire between the loss of the idea of ruling (mandate of heaven to steal the Chinese concept here) and final end. I'm expecting tripling down on the Cathedral's bullshit and a whole lot of weird stuff.

Archive

One of the things that always stuck in my craw: the American public pays billions of dollars to fund this research, then we can't read it. Threaten to nationalize JSTOR and other digital libraries unless they give unfettered, free access to all publicly funded research to every citizen of any nation that funded it. Or build a national digital archive which any publicly funded research must have a copy of their paper published in.
This has stuck in my craw since I went to college, and is just another thing that Congress needs to get off its ass and act on. Make it federal law that any research that has received so much as a single cent of federal funding be permanently and fully available to the public. That means not just the research paper, but also the raw data, and the complete source code of any programs used in gathering, processing, or interpreting the data.

Edited to add: Further, make it no research paper shall be admissible as evidence in any administrative, legislative, or court proceeding unless that paper's finding have been independently replicated, at least twice. Finally, so that doesn't force the legally mandated abandonment of all knowledge and common sense, the same law should allocate immense funding specifically for studies which aim to replicate or refute things that are common knowledge, like the fact that aspirin can treat headaches.

People like this fascinate me. Because to these individuals, human beings aren’t people they are slaves. They view human beings as nothing but replaceable parts in the machine of profit generation. To these individuals the only thing that matter are money, a man can’t simply enjoy time to himself, no he has to work everyday for every single day of his life, he can’t have hobbies because hobbies distract from profit generation. wanna play with minis? No get back to work. Wanna play a game? No get back to work. Work work work until you die and then someone will replace you. These are the type of people “they live” was making fun off.

go back to sleep, goy. The Broken camera recorded that Epstein was the only one to enter the cell. There's no way to possibly doctor that footage or anything, you'll see it clearly when we release the footage after we "clean it up a little" the footage is really boring though, that's why 2 guards fell asleep at the same time so you probably don't actually want to waste your time watching it anyway.

watching Dan Bongino light his post Trump Administration career on fire has been nuts. Literally nobody believes him and his fans are gonna destroy him when he goes back to his show. he'll have less than 300 viewers.

More and more, I feel like Bongino encapsulates much of the empty bravado and false confidence of a large portion of the Right wing internet content crowd from the last 4 years.

Musk, Bongino, Patel, ect. So much chest thumping and so little in the way of tangible results. But when it comes to Bongino, I can only ever remember this earworm.

That's what's wrong with the Ann Coulters and other conservative pundits of the world. So easy to sit on the sidelines and talk about what's wrong with the country and grift and sell books, but so difficult to actually get in there and do something and change something. Bongino, like you said, encapsulates this mindset perfectly.
