Quest has filed a motion to extend all deadlines in the case by 120 days to allow his new counsel to familiarize himself with the case. This means that the jury trial scheduled for December of this year will be pushed out further.

The motion states that Randazza has agreed to stipulate to the 120 days extension.

Hardin is probably shocked that opposing counsel in a lolsuit smoothly agreed to a routine matter, without even accusing him of a crime.

Maybe he just took this case so he can confer with an actual lawyer for a change. Nice and relaxing work.

Extra months for Randazza to bill more hours to Nick, I'm sure, so no reason not to agree.

Is it just a coincidence that Hardin is apparently an actual Minnesota lawyer in his own right and doesn't need to be pro hac vice'd in?

i cant believe this is the same montagraph who released spergy videos of himself cackling maniacally at ayylawgs and got humiliated by metokur in the mother of all lolcow exposes. he actually seems civil now

It's even more astonishing when contrasted with Nick's behaviour. Say what you will about Monty, but he's clearly smart enough to know when to shut the fuck up and act like an adult.

If Nick could have observed this same wisdom he wouldn't be on probation right now.

Since SJW is in so deep on this criminal case and shielding the bodycam footage, is there a persuasive case to be made that the Monty case needs to move venue or at least go to another judge? I fucking hate this dude and know that’s an emotional response, but if I were Monty I would be less than thrilled with my chances. SJW seems shameless enough not to care about appearances and as if he would be fine handing Nick a victory just to get him out of the county’s hair legally.

Bringing this over from the main thread: How relevant to the Quest case is the fact that Nick can’t seem to stop calling people pedophiles despite this ongoing case? I don’t want to get my hopes up, yet I can’t imagine any of this will help him. Would it be materially better for Randazza to be blindsided with all of this at some point in the future?
