I like the meme of "baby games" but I honestly think people are missing out by restricting themselves to "mature" titles. I don't know what it says about a person who can play the most vile shit and also enjoy something that's meant for kids but I'm that guy.

The "classic game reviews get no views" cope is just that, a cope, if you ask me. Synth puts out maybe one slop review a month, which is really slow considering how low effort they are by his own admission.

I would say most of his income is from the streams, which he can easily multitask by playing a classic game people want to see and capturing footage at the same time.

Is a low-view video worse than literally no video in the algorithm? I can't imagine so.

TehSnakerer makes some of the best game reviews/analysis and his footage has some livestream clips.

AngryJoe also does that (even though he kinda sucks nowadays).

Your right he can do both, livestrean and get footage. It's possible to download mods and chop it up for some review footage.

If synth really does have a hit peice for husky I'm done with this dude. You know I actually warned him about kiwifarms and he just got mad and said he could just ignore them as if he wasn't getting all this attention for no reason. The dude has a consistent track record of of alienating people in the worse way possible, I hope to God the rumor about him making a hit peice on husky isn't true.

Usually i dont mind if the cow in question browse their thread, but thing is that almost all the time they lose their shit and start doing shit that solidify their cow status even more. Not many can read their threads and just be chill about it. Cant wait until he starts saying that we are a bunch of incels and whatnot just because we have a thread of him here.

Why would you watch Synth if you aren't or weren't a loser?
You wouldn't really get it if you never had that component because that's the guy's personality, and before he unironically bit the hand that fed him and then proceeded to shit all over his room and roll around in his own feces I did like the guy.

But now I just want to see his channel circle the drain.

Someone who isn't working out and living his lifestyle would have to be carrying groceries to get forearm definition of any kind. If he had a better camera we'd be able to see more of his muscle definition. It's clear that he lifts weights a few times a week. He'd do ok in PT, standing/walking is difficult if you're not used to it though, would probably be the most difficult for him since most Amerifats don't walk much.
Not saying the dude is ripped but social media's idea of guys being at it for a decade plus or getting implants, roids, or both being, "natural" has really warped people's views.

I genuinely believe that despite what he claims he really doesn't want to play and review classic games. He doesn't really want to play games in general. Every once and a while he seems pleasantly surprised like with Ninja Gaiden but for the most part either doesn't want to put the effort into emulating or playing them. He doesn't really enjoy videogames at all anymore and it shows.

If the retro reviews actually bring him any joy, he'd probably find a way to make them work. They don't have to be an hour long, they don't have to be terribly well edited, if all you want to do is crap a couple out to talk about and play games you like then I fail to see why they just aren't worth pursuing when they average 20K views at a time.
