He also did a full on 3dmm Halloween Film Festival Stream back in 2020 (as a sequal to a previous
3dmm film festival stream he did earlier that year, he even almost made
a promo for the stream aswell)
hell I even remember submitting an entry to it, that was sadly never shown, which was a
sequal to another previous film I made called
"Zomblack Attack"... Yeah, as you can judge by the title, it's about a zombie invasion with the zombies being black people for some reason lol (I was 13 years old at the time and didnt fully know about racial slurs yet)
Gavin Owers is a real person and former member of the community btw, he started making movies all the way back in
2000 (According to one of his old now defunct websites,
3dmm.gavinowers.com, if you scroll down far enough, he says that he made the last two movies between 1998/1999, I said 2000 because that is where he released SUPER DEATHS on another 3dmm site,
3dmm.co.uk) and stopped making them in around 2007, he's definately an early 2000s animator, lets just say, because some of his stuff do have racials slurs in them, something that he would come to regret later according to a 3dmm.com post I remember seeing (not sure if it is still up), one of my favourite of his 3dmm stuff is those
Shitty Bob movies he made back in 2002-2003, the first episode is my absolute favourite because of the voice changer... when in the speech directory of its .3mm file, there is no .wav extension at the end, so I beileve that either Gavin used some kind of phyisical voice modulator or a special program for Windows, idk
also you gotta credit to the Japanese 3dmm community because they made some of the surrealist shit I've ever seen, just look up "ドラえもん 3dmm" or something among those lines on YouTube and you will find some weird stuff, trust me... or you can take
a look at these I got off 3dmm.jpn.org via the Wayback Machine, im planning to upload a few more films I found on there but I will upload them once I finally get to them
