Indeed, weed is more of a slow burn and it's negative effects are far more insidious as a result. If done in moderation weed is relatively harmless as far as drugs go, but that fact entices people to do a lot more of it while denying any possibility of addiction.

Just as heroine and other opiates make you numb to pain but then hypersensitive to it when the effect wears off, weed induces a state of apathy which leaves irritability in it's wake.
