Same. I've enjoyed my share of gory stuff while still coming back to my favorite baby games. I'd say the hyperfocus on "mature" stuff's contributed to the photorealistic slop of today. Synth made a great point on what Astrobot winning GOTY represents.

He's more in his element if you check out his old retrospectives heck even reviews of games no one's heard about. Way better than no video for sure even with the estimated lesser views. One can never tell. The modern slop vids are fun but they're not necessarily the best at attracting a quality audience while also playing Breakers shit

I don't know maynee.. Video games may fuck up your dopamine receptors and attention span(though I'd argue watching media can have the same effect), but anime is a gateway to some weird things if you don't check yourself.

i think i remember synth saying multiple times that he doesn't believe in/ support "punching down" in the youtube sphere.

you've been around a long time, husky. i think this^ was around the time that nigger who reviews TVs was getting ganged up on by bigger channelS like reviewtech usa, and the latter dudes got BTFO'd.

I watched the beginning of the Nightreign stream. They were playing for maybe 5 minutes before Coooby started shitting on it. “This feels like a mod” before he’d even completed a single 3-day loop. Okay, Coobs. To be fair, Sven was also complaining a bit, though Mold was just lolling and trying to have fun.

I think Mold should stream. He seems like a lot more fun than Coobs.

To be fair, Nightrein is a glorified mod up to and including porting a bunch of Dark Souls bosses into Elden Ring wholesale.

Someone who isn't working out and living his lifestyle would have to be carrying groceries to get forearm definition of any kind. If he had a better camera we'd be able to see more of his muscle definition. It's clear that he lifts weights a few times a week. He'd do ok in PT, standing/walking is difficult if you're not used to it though, would probably be the most difficult for him since most Amerifats don't walk much.
Not saying the dude is ripped but social media's idea of guys being at it for a decade plus or getting implants, roids, or both being, "natural" has really warped people's views.

To be extra fair, Nightreign looks like hot salty garbage, as does that Duskbloods game Fromsoft's working on. They've started putting all their eggs into the Jolly Co-operation basket for some reason and it's giving me PTSD flashbacks.
