I don't know about the "women-are-wonderful effect", but an overlay of an anime girl with big tits has more sex appeal than a late twenty-something Costanzamaxxer. You've seen one "Doom inspired Boomer Shooter" you've seen them all. It's sugar high movement for ADHD kids that look like they're in a modern CoD lobby. As a person that really loves Doom 2016 I've grown tired of seeing this specific type of game style because it is all spectacle but you look at the indie game circle that latched onto this and they only took the spectacle parts out of it.

Movement shooters can be really fun but I look at the new Doom and got nothing exciting.
