It fills me with wonder knowing people are going to ask him about the transcripts and he will have to do mental gymnastics about the contents.
I am looking forward to excuse his way out of having drugs all over the place.
"Look I have 5 kids which is why there is piles of clothes everywhere. And the drugs? well all lawyers are alcoholics, I was just training to be a good one!"

I'm glad others have picked up on that. For years there was neither hide nor hare of those kids, and he basically said the kids knew that when daddy is in his yelling room you are not to bug him. Now the kids are just sauntering in with 'daddy can you help?'. I know a performance when I see one.
Oh absolutely. Nicks response (as recent as just over a year ago) has always been frustration & anger upon his children daring to interrupt his streams. He had this weird flat affect he’d use to let them know he meant business if they interrupted him:

He is like the spoiled Gen Xers of the 1990s, they never had to suffer through the precarities of recessions, mass emigration, wars, housing crises, pandemics, and the never-ending decline which seems to have followed 2001. Gen X were worried about being "boring" or becoming like their parents, I think 90% of people under 30 today would give almost anything to have the social and economic security of their parents, even if it meant being "boring".

This is where Nick's infamously poorly worded insult: "NERD" comes from, it's a bizarre a non-insult to most, but deeply cutting from Nick's perspective.
That’s not an accurate description of Gen X though it’s a popular, newer, narrative being spun lately, (especially by idiots like iHypocrite or Bronze Age Faggot & his fellow dick suckers on twitter, they both are like chicken hawks chasing a very young audience who don’t know better.) Nick is also just old enough he could try to choose Gen X as his cohort, but he is actually a Millennial. 1980 is the last birth year for Gen X, Rackets was born in December of 1981, putting him a handful of years on the millennial side of the equation,

Did you sleep through all history lessons on that era? What about the fall of the Berlin Wall, 9/11, war in the Middle East & many other areas, huge market crashes throughout the first decade of the 2000’s that definitely affected Gen Xer’s in their (20’s-30’s then,) & immigration was a big deal then, too. AIDS was still a killer for that entire generation, it was a pandemic. That’s just a handful of happenings from that era that you just claimed didn’t even exist then.

That Gen X description is misinformed & flat out wrong . All it takes to learn about these things is to read about it from unbiased perspectives, & look at historical archives or talk with people who lived through it to know. A lot of younger millennials & zoomers have these ridiculous ideas of how easy life was a generation or two ago. It’s really misplaced & seems to be more about modern grifters trying to make money on young peoples misery. Nick reminds me of that attitude, more than anything Gen X. But he’s one of those older millennial or Generation Y guys, who should know a little better.

Sir, I'm 7. Just ask Steve Taylor.

Although, I just realised that Greer can use the 'Mein Hardin-ship' for his own memoirs...

Is this a professional distinction? I commonly see Americans use the two terms seemingly equivocably.

What I want confirmation on is if the house was a total cess pit before the streaming, drugs, and swinging, or did it mirror the moral status of the denizens as it shifted over time.

I find it hard to believe that the house was more than 'messy' for 5 years if the nanny stayed that long.
This Steve Taylor ;) I could not resist... Also

Now, what will he title this Minnesota Tragedy?

Lawpope: How Parasocial Relationships Ruined the Reputation of a Minnesota Lawyer and Brought Unending Shame to his Wife and Children.

Minnesota Twins:.the story of sister wives gone horribly wrong.

From Law Pope to Cuck Pope: The rise and fall of Nick Rekieta

I think the IT Crowd already nailed a fitting title:
the nicky rackets story.webp

I just want to say- I believe Oliver Bromke, undergrad Rutgers in Journalism, and then a law degree from Rutgers, has the ability and NYC connections to write and publish the Rekieta story. With Hardin doing the FOIA work (and maybe getting a co-writer cred), I foresee a New Yorker longform article, and concurrent book publishing.

I would buy that book in a heartbeat.

They genuinely become unable to experience satisfaction, joy, or pleasure, from anything unless they do those things while also high as a kite and as they do so they continuously further dull their brains to any and all pleasurable sensations.
The definition of comfortably numb.

Due to the nature of chemical tolerance they also have to keep pushing themselves further and further. New drugs, new forms of debauchery, new combinations, new limits.

Life is full of peaks and valleys. When you keep jumping from peak to peak, the peaks stop being peaks. First they become the new normal, then they become the valleys.
the fear of withdrawal as after so long in the throes of drug fueled pleasure this becomes a terrifying experience more painful than anything they have ever expexperienced
Thus the prospect of a real valley becomes an unimaginable horror. It's a macrocosm of what I said in a previous post about how weed makes you apathetic and leaves irritability in its wake.

Temperance is a virtue for a reason.

Honestly the biggest question is why would this small county do this to protect Nick. What they have already done makes them look really bad in front of thousands of people. Corruption makes sense as rich people in small towns have a lot of pull but it doesn't look like it.
They're circling the wagons to protect one of their own from ridicule by outsiders. No doubt Nick's gratitude and humility in the face of such a supportive community will justify their actions.

Fun fact: Karl Heberger has two club feet.
The dabbleverse is the most insane collection of degenerate freaks that are brought together by an irrational violent hatred of a boring YouTube livestreamer that only they've heard of

Every glimpse of the Dabbleverse further convinces me that it's some sort of mirror universe where all the heroes are dysgenic child predators and all the villains are normie wannabe comedians with outstanding credit card debt.
