If you're Quran only, you can ignore the Hadith and all the biographies about Muhammad fucking a 9 year old.

What you can't ignore is that Surah 65 would still permit a Muslim to marry, have sex with, and divorce children who have yet to go through puberty.

Spoiler: 65 explanation.

Surah 65:4, "And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women - if you doubt, then their period is three months, and [also for] those who have not menstruated. And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they give birth. And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him of his matter ease."

Context, its referring to the waiting period between divorce and remarriage, and those who have not menstruated includes those who haven't for medical reasons, but also because they're too young. When Muhammad married Aisha, she was still playing with dolls (normally illicit, because images of created things are haram), which means that she had not yet hit the age of reason, which is to say, puberty. The waiting until puberty is from more moderate Muslims who are desperately trying to make it sound slightly less horrific.
