This is why government agencies used to blacklist homos for being easily blackmailed. Even in 2025 when homosexuality is destigmatized in theory, what homos get up to in practice is still revolting (if not illegal, which I suspect some of Glenn’s activities in Brazil as a gay cyber-pimp might be in the US) and highly compromising for them and anything they’re a part of if revealed.

I’m not even sure you can really call this blackmail, since he retweeted it. He would seem to have a humiliation fetish, judging by summaries of the video. If powerful forces really are behind the release of the video, he has nobody but himself to blame for having it filmed in the first place. I can’t imagine it’s expensive to pay off whatever Brazilian rentboy was involved.

Bono has always been a neoliberal shill, even well before it became popular and almost expected for celebrities.

It does remind me of an old joke where Bono is on stage and between songs is going off on a pointless tangent about all of the poor starving people in the world. He starts clapping and says "Every time I clap my hands, a child dies in Africa." A drunk Scotsman in the back yells out, "Well stop fucking clapping then!"

I think he has more than a little bit of the 'tism. I like him because he has on serious academics whose research I like to hear about, but I get less CIA vibes from him and more huge fucking dork with autism. Your mileage may vary and it's definitely not a hill I am willing to fight on, let alone die on. If it turns out he's a CIA shill then I won't be too surprised, but if he was gonna get caught with his hands in the cookie jar then it would have happened when USAID was gutted. USAID is how the CIA funded its "associates" for years.

Damn.... i'm genuinely surprised, i guess the fears of his jeeta wife having him by the balls were unfounded. That or she's just redpilled on the problem.

It's also a very retarded idea that you have to be an overachiever from youth to be good at anything. The types of skills in thinking needed changes dramatically every 10 years due to technology and most of acadmeics is just teaching people to memorize shit and write it down on a test. Even things like math and the sciences don't teach or test conceptualization very well, ask any of the smartest people on earth and they'll tell you most of what they know came from on the job experience and hobbyism.

Obviously you can't teach an illiterate retard who smocked crack in this youth anything valuable in his 30s, but as i've gotten older my neuroplasticity has gotten *better* not worse. I'm able to master and apply completely foreign skills in a matter of weeks that used to take me years of fear and self doubt. I learned how to learn, and i didn't do it in a classroom.

I don't know why I should care what a non American thinks about USAID being gutted.

And using the 300000 death count isn't doing much. If you want to me to even attempt to feel empathy about these totally real deaths put some names and stories out.
