So, anybody think the Nevada health guy admitting he helps transition kids without parental knowledge or consent, then bilks Medicare for it, is going to see any kind of punishment or blowback for that admission?
I'll be pressing X to doubt, because the people that do shady stuff either know how to do so and stay under the radar, or they do so in areas where they can openly admit to what they do and know there will be zero consequence.

If I recall, the WNBA is heavily subsidized by the NBA because it can't make a profit even with recent superstars such as Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers driving up interest and ticket/merchandise sales. Also, it doesn't help the league has a niche with Lesbian fans and seems give more publicity to its lesbian athletes than its non-lesbian ones. Furthermore, I believe most if not all the games are on cable with means people with over the air TV can't watch the games even if they wanted to.
As it is, other efforts to have women's basketball leagues have failed due to financial viability.
If the country collectively voted to fix Congressional salaries to the national median wage, forced them to use the same healthcare plans as the rest of us, banned PACs, forced all of them to get audited every year, and started holding these fuckers accountable, we'd probably see an improvement in Congressional opinion polls.
I'd love to see how politicians would react if they had to deal with ordinary wages for their jobs along with the issues associated with having "Obamacare" ranging from the high deductibles and premiums that are anything but affordable as touted in the eponymous
Affordable Care Act.
As much as one might like to believe there is accountability at the polls, there isn't much in reality - especially in areas that always vote for whom or whatever runs for the party of choice in that area.
It takes my breath away that Congress passed Obamacare with the exemptions for themselves. At least the GOP said Obamacare sucked. Democrats straight up lied.
It's certainly done nothing to control health care costs as touted. I know people who are legit scared to have major procedures because the portion they have to pay for themselves under the ACA is large enough to be a financial drain on them. Meanwhile, areas with a large population of illegal immigrants thing giving
them free healthcare is a good thing while citizens struggle with medical debt.
We would need Donald Trumps and DOGEs at every level of government to not only truly understand the scale of the rot, but to purge it.
There is all kinds of waste at the lower levels of government. In my part of Kiwi Land, a local city got a road millage passed to fix roads not covered by state or federal funding. However, they've spent a good chunk of that money on road diets and anti-car measures nobody wants and they even want to narrow down a major thoroughfare even thought here is too much traffic support such a move. Using money as intended does not to seem to be strong suit for any governmental entity.

Like many noble movements, "environmentalism" has largely been significantly corrupted by interests that stand to lose something should the movement even partially succeed in its goals.
This has been true for a long time. I remember when the same group that did good things at my high school such as start the recycling program turned into an "Eco Freaks 'r Us" group that became the before its time version of an SJW movement that alienated more people than it helped.

At this point, one can't help asking, "What else can be worse than that?" because the horse is already of the metaphorical barn.

San Fran 69ers, the Tampa Bay Fucking Queers, and the Green Bay Fudge Packers. Those would certainly fit in with some of the Pride logos shown earlier in the thread.
Commanders is the worst name for a football team. Couldn't they call them something like the Warrirors?
