There is something really funny how one of the biggest regulations passed regarding AI is being massively protested by Anti-AI Lolicons.

Elaborating: Turns out SB20 was just putting AI-generated content to the same standard as other forms of art that was already established through a law in 2003. Meaning that this whole time we were already living in a world where you cannot possess child porn in the form of a cartoon, and the people protesting this effectively protesting to protect AI generated CP.

What's funny about this video is not the humor but the video itself. The IA creation is like "I'M BETTER THAN U!!!!! I AM THE FUTUREEEE!!11!!" and the artist is like "Yeah, cool. I don't care."

To be fair AI animation sites are fucking cringe. Luma removed the free option some time in the past few months, all the other free ones are absolute shit. I get wanting to make money but man what was wrong with the like one monthly use you got? I just wanted to animate one image in the past like year and all the others are just shit. My favourite one was where it just ignored the image and just had fucking david attenborough narrate the prompt over an absolute fever dream of stock images. I just wanted a dumb little gif of my favourite character trying to hug the camera but I can't do that without paying some retarded 50usd a month type shit. Really glad the gpu market is really good and healthy and not dogshit right now so I can do it locally

For the mega studios most definitely, it’s not surprising for them at all with the outsourcing and cost cutting bullshit even though they have billions. They haven’t made anything good in years at this point. I think the only countries that gaf about art or good animation are south East Asian ones. And to an extent the French.

If you stepped into any contemporary art museum they are filled with experimental, highly audacious, and confounding shit imaginable.
