I noticed no such downward trend, and I think it'll be about the same as usual, maybe slightly more if there's pushback due to TDS or slightly less if some companies no longer feel as obligated to do this shit, but either way it's still going to be a very faggy month.

Because saying you’re oppressed allows you to hurt other people with impunity. There’s a lot of people who want to get ahead and they do it by just damaging others rather than working to elevate themselves through skill or ability. Why work hard to be one of the best when you can just backstab and accuse and smash everyone else down?
I’m seeing this more and more at work. People who are mediocre have really embraced the stasi madness and you feel like you’re walking on eggshells around them all the time. One slip and they’ll have you.
Years back before all this I had a manager who openly admitted she kept files on people and encouraged them to fuck up so she had her entire team on ‘one strike already’ status and could then get rid of whomever she liked. It was obvious she was doing it, everyone loathed her, management thought she was wonderful. She was a raging alcoholic as well. Fun times. These people have always existed but now they have the perfect weapon - being able to cancel people effortlessly and be lauded for it.
