Paws Kuwait (registered charity with the Kuwaiti government, run by Kuwaiti citizens) has officially sent a legal complaint and evidence of Chantal and Salah's illegal activities in Kuwait. It was sent to a public prosecutor within Kuwait and is most likely currently pending further action. Eid is coming up, as others have mentioned, so we will all need to wait a week or so to see if the public prosecutors will take any further action.

Chantal is currently in hiding. I suspect she's still in Kuwait due to her defiance and wanting to be with Salah and her "family", but no one knows. She's still approving comments on her YouTube, so she's watching and aware of everything reactors are saying about her.

I'm beginning to think the reason for silence is she's still in Kuwait and Salad (and family) have turned off the router.

There's also the possibility that Salah (or someone) has beat the crap out of her. As long as they don't use a weapon it's only a misdemeanor.

I'm pretty sure Chantal doesn't have the equivalent of family or friends there who would go with her to a file a complaint with the Arabic-speaking police if Salah did punch her. I'm also not sure Salah could punch her but he seems to have male friends who might assist in helping ensure his wife learns the lesson of shutting the fuck up.

As I wrote earlier, they are not creating a “cause célèbre” of Chantal. They will take the easiest way to deal with her, either by kicking her out or denying her entry. She is too small a fry to waste resources.

On June 5th Kuwaiti time, is a holiday called Waqfat Arafat Day. On the 6th, is Eid al-Adha, (which is not the Ramadan one, that’s over.) This one, they celebrate by sacrificing an animal, which is a pretty funny reason to delay serving Chantal papers for stealing a kitten and then asking for donations to save it.

There are still a few days until that holiday begins so conceivably it could happen, but I know nobody rushes in these 3rd world shithole countries.

The laws in these places are often reactionary. Somebody does something they don’t like, so boom, new law. We’ll see. I doubt anything will happen except her Visa will not be renewed but that’s funny enough.

Well this company filed some official looking documents. Gunt has been AWOL since this entire thing happened. It's suspected she is running from the Kuwait law. Whatever the case, having legal documents filed against her cannot be good for her visa status. Time will tell.
