That was a strange decision too. I think there was a line of dialogue from a character whining about nuclear energy being le bad and solar the best thing ever, so it might have been another item from the ESG checklist.

This is it for me too. 6 had the worst enemy design, world design, visual aesthetic, AI, traversal, and RPG mechanics to date. All around a terrible fucking game.

Far Cry 7 is just going to be Destiny, or whatever that gay time limit mechanic is meant to be is going to ruin it.

Agreed. This very thing is why I vehemently oppose Breakpoint and other online-only games as well. While Wildlands can still be played offline without this reward/challenge system, Breakpoint is online-dependent and it's inevitable that the game will be fucked once the server breaks or sunsets.

You can tell it was of high quality because every other attempt to replicate it afterwards was gay as fuck and shitty, showing that Ubisoft has no idea what it's original appeal was.

Blood Dragon was proof that 1) Michael Biehn is a great fuckin' sport who can have a lot of fun with a silly role, and 2) at some point in time Ubisoft employed at least a few people who had a good sense of humor, still knew how to make a fun game that doesn't take itself seriously and takes gentle little jabs at itself and its progenitors at every opportunity.

And sadly those people were probably fired, laid off or otherwise driven out because as you pointed out, no tongue-in-cheek thing they've made ever since has been god-awful.

To be fair, the frog's capitol city is literally just Mogadishu now... and they have a storied history of nigger worship, I'm talking hundreds of years of it before the Semites got into their media to nigger their cultural icons for them.

It is with immense pleasure of mine to announce that Pride Month is so dead to corporate Twitter at the moment that apart from some ultra-pozzed ones such as League of Legends, Warframe, etc. not a single corporate dipped it's logo in the rainbow.

Speaking of dead, XDefiant's last day is today. As of 10:30 PM EST, the servers are still up and active. I suspect the plug would be pulled around 3 AM EST since that lines up with 12 AM PST.

Every premium cosmetic is unlocked for all players. You can even randomize skins for your characters, which allows you to wear end level gear. I would had never grinded or paid for the wacky cosmetics. Credit to the art team, they're not bad.

If Ubisoft was competent, they could've siphoned the disenfranchised CoD playerbase by ironing out the long term desync issues that ruined the gameplay. They could've allowed it on Steam. They could've had proper progression. Alas, XDefiant, like Skull and Bones, is a wasted opportunity and another tally point of Ubisoft's recent mishaps.

Also, how's Beyond Good and Evil 2 coming along?
