That’s what Vesperus is pointing out - that’s a link to a whole network of private urgent care centres in the UK and I’m aware of others. While it’s true they’ll just pack you off to the NHS if it’s something imminently life threatening or requiring intensive care such as a heart attack or meningitis, there are lots of places especially around London and the big cities that do walk-in care for a fee.

Having said that, if she’d just called 111 (non emergency NHS number) and described her medical history + abdominal pain + passing out they’d almost certainly have got her an out of hours GP appointment within a couple of hours and she’d have just had to turn up at the allotted time. Insisting on just going to A&E every time is a sure sign of someone looking for drama, drugs or who can’t even afford the £9.90 charge for a prescription (meds from hospital are free).

Wtf is an "international lawyer"? Whenever I've had to deal with shit in another country I've just hired a lawyer in that country, because law is hard enough without having to learn multiple sets of intractable bullshit.
Especially when it comes to the US and you have different sets of state law plus federal: It's only dumb fucking luck that Hardin is licensed in Minnesota, enabling us to fuck with Rackets: If Rackets was in almost any other state we'd be pissing in the wind.
I'm wondering if she meant to say international law firm, which is slightly more believable, or if her lawyer is actually a Pakistani immigrant.

It would be someone who practices in international law. You know, treaties, litigation before UN bodies, international business agreements, trade disputes, etc. Dumb cunt doesn't know what she's talking about. I suppose it could mean someone licensed in two different jurisdictions.
