I still wish they would have kept Brandon on for a day or so and escalated the fuckery and humiliation before kicking him.
It's a legal minefield sort of. Brandon seems incredibly litigious and would look for any way to get some sort of legal action going. Whether it be through weaponizing the local police department or a civil suit. Best to just get him the fuck away from everyone.

I understand what you mean, it definitely fucked up the narrative. However...

Kicking Brandon out was one of the funniest bits of the season and I go back and watch it pretty frequently. Sam played into it for me.

I respect your take but I personally disagree. The entire Brandon night was a huge downer and vibe killer for the show. It had none of the hilarity the Simmons kickoff had because I was too busy hating all the fish going to bat for Brandon. Burt sobbing to keep a chomo on was one of the lowest moments of the series imo. It also wasn't planned out and funny like the Simmons kickoff either. When I think of peak season 3 I think of the famous house reveal and Alex and his goblin wife fighting not the Brandon night.

When they've bought multiple houses and are all constantly wearing designer clothes do they REALLY need to keep doing more jewish bullshit to squeeze out more pennies? Their greed is insane.
"no dude its an addiction, also it's ironic, also fuck you if you don't worship the ground these guys walk on" -most of kiwifarm's fishtank chat if you dare bring this up
because its been free for the first 4 seasons and they've obviously been making a fuck ton of money from it.

I actually wouldn't even care about paying $10 a month while the show is on if their shitty website didn't make my laptop sound like its going to catch on fire.
the farms actually hates piracy now, 2 months ago it also hated destiny and ethan klein, i give it about 6 months before people start liking Nick Rekieta again too
Shoutout to the guy in this thread who predicted Jet would use charging 10 dollars to act like a smug asshole you called it
you'd think a guy like Jet would just look in a mirror every time he tries acting like a smug asshole, but alas
The Fishtank subreddit continues to awe me day-to-day with the continued Burt fellatio, probably the lowest point the MDE fanbase has ever hit.
subreddit? read the tread bucko

Isn’t $10 a month the same as $60 for 6 months or am I missing something here?
Its better for the customer, probably not so much for fishtank. At $10 you'll get S4 and BG2 for $30 rather than $60. Also Jet says he wants to cut down the interval between seasons since he feels the "fans need time to recharge" was more an excuse for himself than reality. They're really gambling on people being more willing to buy-in and get a pass at $10 and leave it on auto-renew, only the diehard fans were willing to throw down $60, new fans would balk at that shit and $10 is far more approachable all around.

This is pretty concerning in terms of Fishtank's longevity. With their current schedule, they've yet to create a season in which they don't burn out by the time they're two-thirds of the way in. I'd love to see shorter downtime between seasons, but they need to demonstrate that they can get through a full six weeks without burning out before they can justify shorter breaks between seasons.

I think this only results in a decline in quality and a large chunk of the community losing interest... either that, or we're going to get a bunch of inter-season snoozefests.

They have had 3 seasons to fuck up and see what works or doesnt. I guess this will be the real test since they are returning to the S1 roots. No theme, no gimmick.
I give it 2 weeks before something happens

One of the things that makes Fishtank special is Jet and the wiggers’ utter contempt for their paying audience. It’s funny when it’s not happening to me, and each season further reinforces why you should not give Jet any money unless you really really want to interact with the site for some reason. $10 isn’t unreasonable at all for a month, but this is pretty obviously some sort of jewish trick and not an attempt to improve user experience. Expect them to gradually start squeezing more and more pennies out of the audience. I can’t wait for Fishtank microtransactions.

Also, does anyone actually care about the items/games/stox/whatever parts of the site? Endorsements were nice because they were relevant to the actual show but all the wartoy shit is obnoxious and makes the site borderline unusable for someone who’s just a viewer. Why the fuck is Jet putting so much effort into these, work on improving the streams nigga! (But I guess I don’t really have any say as a free user)

The fishtank schedule has to be fucking brutal for production. I hope all the new wiggers they got filling the house aren't retards and genuinely help keep production from doing lazy burnout shit that happens every season.

Probably being too optimistic though.

The contestants' desire (or lack thereof) to be tryhards and become "the next Jimmy/Josie/etc.", and production's desire to stamp that kind of behaviour out will make or break this season.

Exactly.
I think Jet/Ben will feel a lot easier being assholes to people who know than like Payton or smack. More fucking with contestants, more HELL HOUSE!

The gambit is that enough people will be willing to pay for 1-2 months of season pass who had never paid before that it offsets the lost revenue from people going down from buying a 6-month pack to just buying that one or two months. It could work, only way to know is to test it and find out.

I'm sure it will also be a recurring subscription you have to cancel once you're done watching, so a bunch of people will leave it running either intentionally or accidentally and they'll pick up some extra revenue that way. There's also the idea that with the supposed less downtime between seasons (we'll see about that), there's more consistent content on the site and people will keep their passes up for that, which if it does play out like that is still going to depend on the quality of the content. If I bought a season pass with the monthly system I 100% would cancel it if the content on the site was Stream Stars and just wait for the next real season.

tbh i feel vindicated since it turns out that making fishtank all about fucking with normies was in fact a bad idea that ended up cucking content and getting obsessive weirdo freaks to constantly call the cops and the fish not being in on it created extra uncertainty about the whole thing for the cops so they kept needing to come back every time some jackass called to say "burts freaking out again" or "they're harassing the local pedofaggot"

S1/2 was easy for them because it was just a bunch of retards being retarded for the internet in a house, and they could all easily explain to the cops that yes, they wanted to be there, they were relatively sane and sober, and all the hassling and whatnot was consensual.
