Maybe the reason lolicon/shotacon defenders act so retarded and abrasive online is to gatekeep. They try to make their community appear as toxic as possible on purpose, so that absolutely nobody, not even political grifters want to associate with them. They do not want the Blue Archive game to get filled with "normies" that would start protesting and petitioning to have the sus skins and cosmetics to be removed. I highly doubt it's about filtering out leftists either, because I had seen multiple trannies being into this game and using pfps of the characters.

Maybe there is an entire community wide campaign to fill up steam with as many half-delusional posts as possible, to ensure that anybody remotely interested in the game would immediately leave and nobody sane would want to associate themselves with it. They have to... the game is going to be free2play... nothing would technically stop the game from getting reviewbombed to smithereens, unless people get burned out early. However, I think they may be going overboard with the filtering... Like after Kivotos came to this thread, I'm gonna get the game purely to write a negative review out of spite and EVERYBODY in this thread should do the same.
