Company leadership does make a difference. There have been multiple cases of when an entire fast food's night crew just gets executed (Burger Chef in Speedway, KFC in Kilgore, probably others) but that doesn't affect them. In comparison, if you look at something like the 1991 Bruno's crash and how within a decade the company went from a growing Publix-tier retailer to Chapter 11, then yes it makes a difference.

Of course, the other difference between this and all the fast food killings is that it wasn't a violent subhuman going after teenagers making pocket change, it was someone who had a very specific reason for doing what he did.
