The government becomes/is aware of you.
The government knows more than you might think. As an example, my last stimulus check back in 2021 was direct deposited even though I never actively provided my account information to the government. They knew my account number from me using it to make previous tax payments. If they keep track of that information without someone realizing it, imagine what else might be in one's dossier.
They are not hard to find, at all. As long as they didn't stir up shit and get pulled over for driving without insurance or something equally or more retarded, no one bothers them.
Funny thing is, there seems to be a lot of illegal aliens being picked up after routine traffic stops for the most basic of traffic violations and being discovered to be illegal when they weren't even on law enforcement's radar.
f you associate someone with tacos, it doesn't matter that you think it's a clever acronym, you create a positive subconscious feeling when people hear the word. Taco Tuesdays are good. Taco Trump brings to mind that picture of him with the enormous Trump Tower taco bowl, a picture that was funny and endearing.
Even for someone who doesn't like tacos, it's possible they will still associate Trump with someone who enjoys good food or tex-mex cuisine like a lot of other average people and see him more in a good light (he's just like anyone else) than see the term as some sort of below the belt insult.
how exactly did she plan to pay for med school as an illegal?
I'd bet Colorado's public universities have some combination of policies that call for (1) illegal aliens to be charged resident tuition rates, or (2) scholarship money earmarked to help illegals pay for their tuition. This is the norm in blue-leaning college towns and states.

I want everyone to know that this is the tip of the iceberg and things are way worse. There is an entire system set up for scamming the VA (and thus you and I) and people coach each other on how to do it, you can even pay to have someone use their social network ("I know a guy who works at the VA") to help process paperwork and say the exact things to maximize benefits for the coveted 100%.
This jibes with what a vet I know experienced at his last military convention. While there, some of his war buddies were pushing him hard to apply for disability involving the various conditions mentioned in the thread and they promised they could set him up with people/doctors who could get him the disability payments and the benefits that go with them. To his credit, he had no interest in doing anything dishonest and said he'd rather see the uninsured veterans that have legit issues, injuries, etc. get these benefits. For better or worse, though, there seem to be enough veterans who feel that serving their country entitles them to any benefit that can get their hands on - needed or not.
Also I feel like I’m getting raped by mechanics.
Sadly, every area seems to have at least one auto shop that does whatever it can to insist customers have to undergo some sort of costly repair service even for the most routine of appointments as a way to make a profit. That ultimately motivated me to buy my own scan tool to read the codes triggering the check engine light and why I always check my manual to see what is due when so I know what should and shouldn't be done at a particular visit to the shop in conjunction with regular oil changes. I also try to replace what I can on my own such as wipers and the cabin filter. Better to pay $20-$30 to replace those myself than pay $100 or more in parts and labor somewhere for the exact same thing.
I went to one when I knew I was getting an ear infection, asked for drops, and they gave it to me. They're useful for small shit when you don't want to wait to see your GP.
I've gone for minor items that require medical attention but aren't worth the drive and waiting room time to see my regular doctor.
