I can actually see Ian begin his road to redemption if he starts leaking audio of Anisa being abusive to him the way Shiloh did to Onision back in the day.

I can also see him begin a career revival if he divorces and spends the next year in silence doing a documentary on his experience in a support group for abused spouses.

It’s probably the truth. Ian’s coach gave him props for actually showing some improvement during his sparring sessions. He landed a few body shots that stunned Nathan Barnatt who’s bigger. Sam Hyde’s a clown but I admire how a class act he can be even to someone that he’s feuding with.

cc1 was a success on paper and michael said that during the actual event he had a lot of fun. theyre good people and they arent tuned into internet drama at all, im sure it was obvious to them that anisa would always be a pain in the ass but michael seemed to still think ian was a pretty nice guy until cc2 was about to go down, the documentary situation began to unravel, the clusterfuck with the gala happened, etc. it was probably by that point that ian and anisa became actively hostile towards them and a threat to their business, so michael just finished the job and cut his losses.
