I don't believe her. I don't believe that happened and I think she is talking about a famous massacre that many see as the inciting incident of the Lebanese Civil War and inserting her Dad into it. I don't believe this would be the first we would be hearing of this amazing story.

I’ve heard the same story from a Christian Lebanese-American woman (I think it was Brigitte Gabriel), but the opposite. Muslim gunmen stopped the bus and anyone whose ID said Christian (Lebanon keeps track of your religious affiliation, it’s codified into the constitution, though I don’t know how they handle converts) was taken out and shot.
