It all makes a lot of sense when you consider that Elon has been the target of constant, non-stop ball washing and ass kissing for over 2 decades now due to being a billionaire while ALSO being a big aspergers retard who constantly misses social queues.

It might not even be his idea, but some of his parasite ass kissing followers whispering on his ear and making him think he came up with it.

It also fits perfectly with his political views of "I am a liberal but the left left me behind when they went full communist", he is that sort of moron who only woke up to the danger of communism because it was literally on his doorstep.
