Has Trump ever had a long-standing associate? He seems to churn and burn through people in a short period of time. I don't see him and Mike Pence palling around much anymore.

Pence is a case where Trump was backstabbed first during certification in 2020 so I don't count him. Vance is getting the spare treatment VPs always get.

That being said, yeah, I can't name long time associates for certain. Maybe Giuliani before he got burned out. Bannon, I guess, but Bannon feels like someone trying to get into the inner circle to me.

As others mentioned people already knew Trump was involved with Epstein, but I think a lot of people overestimate this fact considering he was only listed there once. I never believed he was truly a pedo or trafficker in this one instance because of this weird incident that followed it, which some people might be familiar with I just can't find it anymore. He made this post after the fact essentially saying 'Just met with Epstein, really great guy. Really likes the ladies too. Some says he likes them YOUNG, like really YOUNG.' I honestly believe he was whistleblowing back then, but maybe people would find that idea too optimistic.

Ultimately I have doubts that Elon even laid eyes on the Epstein files at all. I knew it was going to bite Trump eventually to be involved with him because he's so petty and attention seeking in everything he does, and I 100% thought that when they did eventually fight that Musk would do something petty on the way out. Ultimately this feels kind of weak to me, like I legit thought Musk might release docs or do some worse shit once he pissed Trump off. The actual best possible outcome would be Trump calling his bluff and actually releasing the unredacted Epstein files, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

I think we kind of got our answer as to who is being protected by the hiding of the Epstein files pretty early on. I believe it was Pam Bondi who was bragging that she had the Epstein files on her desk and was eager to release them after Trump hyped them up. She then quietly instead handed the files off to what could only be described as 'Israeli influencers'. It was all very strange, but the way it went down kind of proved what people always suspected. That Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were connected to Mossad and Israel and the the main purpose of the the trafficking on Little Saint James was to get blackmail material on influential figures into the hands of Israel in order to make them do what they want. This blackmail stick would pair nicely with the carrot that is the AIPAC funding and campaign support that they are also so proud of.

To me it doesn't make much sense for Trump to have promised the release of the Epstein files right when he got into office if he was in the files himself. With how rapidly he was doing shit he could have just quietly stopped talking about the whole thing and I think most people would have forgotten that he said he'd release them.
