Funny enough, virtually none of Elon Musk's business ideas are financially viable without the government keeping them afloat. Hyperloop wasn't even technologically viable, what a fantastically stupid idea that was.

The reason I have never trusted Elon as part of MAGA is that he's always been a grifter. Tesla is one of the most overvalued companies in the world right now (still), and has rode its stock price to impossible heights via hype, lies, and unfulfillable promises.

The same is true, to a lesser degree, of SpaceX. While SpaceX has made rocketry more economical than NASA ever could, due mainly to the Senate not directly managing the internal affairs of government contractors, Elon has made one fantastical promise after another with SpaceX. Wasn't his first manned Mars mission supposed to be this year? Artemis has already orbited the moon; Starship's reusable heat shield remains in the realm of speculative fiction.

I've always been skeptical of Elon and am somewhat relieved to see him exiting stage left.

I am not black pilled. I was around during Trump first term and want him to succeed. I am sorry i am not praising Trump constantly like his is the second coming of Christ. I get you people may be new on this ride but Thune and Johnson are no different than McConnell and Paul Ryan. They did the same playbook.

aside from the Epstein shit this is the major point Elon went off the rails. Tariffs work and need to locked high for most countries.. get rid of all income taxes and build up a manufacturing base. No product we buy should be from another country. 100% sell sufficient.

I can understand that sentiment, but the House margin isn't really comfortable to say the GOP has a majority, it's a "majority" in name only and wouldn't even be as big as it is if 3 Democrats didn't die in office.

Also while the majority in the senate is nice, you'd need 60 to do anything of value to avoid the filibuster, the GOP would be close to that 60 if they didn't bungle Arizona and Georgia.
