Speaking of hearing news from Tom Grossi first, just saw the Steelers signed Aaron too. I think they're fucked but who knows, they managed to end 2019 8-8 and by all accounts that should've been much worse for them.

Tomlin may have earned himself another 9-8 season and a potential stay in Pittsburgh.
You mean a Steeler Super Bowl.

The cost of shrooms and DMT in the Greater Pittsburgh Area is plummeting on the news. You know Rodgers is bringing his stash

I'll take a bet on the Steelers getting 11 wins and a playoff win this year. I like the move.

Anthony Richardson has apparently hurt his throwing shoulder, and won’t be doing Camp.

Meaning the Colts might, completely unironically, start Danny Derps.

So, is it too early to call Richardson a bust?

I now really want DJ to have a Vikings Sam
Darnold style breakout season, take the Colts to the playoffs, and end up getting franchise QB money somewhere next season to just completely revert to the mean like Darnold is this year.

Has he been humbled at all? AR15 was drafted to be a franchise QB after starting only 12 more games than I did in college. It was a complete gamble on traits. He then proceeded to not watch film, skip treatment (when he gets injured every other game), was late to meetings, etc.

He did not have the maturity to be an NFL starter, let alone franchise QB. The Colts' locker room has been a dumpsterfire since at least Reich and rather than change the culture, Richardson perpetuated it. I think the bigger question is does Carlie Irsay intend to run a competent club or just wear gold cleats and a headset on the sideline.

She's gonna be the one to determine the team's future imo. Jim had a baffling loyalty to Chris Ballard.

He is entering year three without anything to show for his career thus far, and as of right now it looks like he'll have nothing to show for it at the conclusion of his third season as a pro. Poor stats, multiple injuries. I know everyone wants to give a QB time to develop and have a team built around him, but at some point you have had enough time to start being the prospect everyone thought you would be.

The biggest asset he had was having the media on his side, but he caused them all to turn on him last year when he infamously pulled himself out of the Texans game. Stroud won the media over with his rookie season and Young won the media over last year by showing more resilience with his second season. Richardson no longer has to be the token QB from the 2023 Draft Class that the media has to prop up and fawn over, they found what they wanted in the other two first round picks so know Richardson is going to be the guy that gets paraded around as the bust of the group.

Pat McAfee repeatedly hammering on that was the canary in the coalmine. I know some people have conflicting opinions on Pat. Rightfully so. He loved Jim Irsay and never went to town on the Colts because of that, but he's always heavily implied the Colts locker room being a clownshow in recent years. Along with how disgraceful it was for Anthony Richardson to tap out.

I guess you could call a QB never exiting a game without being hurt a false platitude, but that shit was bizarre. A QB represents the team like no other position in any other sport, and Richardson didn't even have the common sense to lie that he tweaked a muscle? Plus, the nigga already has one segment where he said college was easier than the NFL. It's a shame they don't do the Wonderlic test at the combine anymore because this dude would have scored a 5.

Interesting question for people who do not cheer for the colts or the steelers. Which position would you rather be in, the Colts position or the Steelers?
Colts, Danny Dimes sucks, but it's not like
it's impossible for him to improve. Rodgers is completely washed, and anyone who watched him play last year should know there's absolutely no reason to believe he won't play as bad or worse than that this year.
