Nick really wants people to believe that he is some Chad, where he can just steal men's wives whenever he wants. He managed to get a mistress from a polycule, and now he thinks he is some alpha male slayer. This isn't even the first time in the past few months Nick has made similar statements about other guys besides Aaron, that he could steal their wives or girlfriends if he wanted.

I have a Nick in my life, I call him MyNick, and with every turn for the worse, I loathe him with a passion that is now cellular. Despite endless opportunities to deal with situations in constructive ways, ways that would earn him empathy and support, he insists upon taking the path of most resistance. The way of scorched earth. The body count of the people he harms grows continually. And despite earning my passionate hope for his karmic comeupance, there is always a part of me that hopes he sees the light, that he will gain some self awareness however troubling that may be, repent, and begin anew in a healthy way that helps those around him--because he could. I think I watch Nick Rekieta's downfall with such interest because they are so similar, because insights gleaned from one helps me understand the other. It's actually shocking to me how similar they are in trajectory, timeline, and pace, if not circumstance. I honestly wish they could see the light, not just for less havoc in the lives of those around them--that is deserved--but I see them hurting and I want them to be happier as well. Pollyanna hopes for the best. Sadly, I see their behaviors, Munchausen-by-proxy in my situation and Nick Rekieta gloating at Elissa's medical troubles in his case, and I think there is no bottom with these broken males. I can't even call them men. They're social predators with XY chromosomes but they aren't men. I want to believe they are not beyond redemption, but they keep proving me wrong. Honestly, punching me in the face as dimwit brutes would be preferable to the long term harms they are installing in children, each in their own way. I try to trust in God that all things happen as they will, but boy is it hard not to yearn for some real justice for them. I try to remember they are already in a living hell of their own making.

Elissa has never done anything but be a mirror. Her clips are 3 minutes or 40 minutes but never out of complete context. For Nick to express such hate for her is to express hate for himself, for his own words and beliefs. Which means laughing at her mortality is pure cruelty.
