That's because
a) They're relative newcomers and might not know the etiquette here
b) They're being hounded by an entire pack of mad faggots who I'm sure are faceless and interchangable to them, and there's no need for them to take any pains to further securing your attention

Uhhhh it's the first one- as I said. I just made an account literally today. Sooooo I don't know how to tag. I'm guessing it's the @ symbol?

This isn't just a gamer game forum, did you even read anything when you signed up? Also calling everyone stupid really doesn't help your case of being an intellectual either.

Yeah just @ and start typing in the username and if you mouse over it you can autocomplete. They'll get a notification so it's good for drawing people's attention to your post, and it's generally considered good etiquette here to tag somebody if you insult them so you can be sure they'll see your savage burns.
