This isn't directly related to the LA riots but it is about immigration so it's on topic. Has anyone else noticed that assimilation or at least attempting to assimilate just isn't a thing anymore? When I was a kid 20+ years ago immigrants would at the very least try to learn English. That's not a thing anymore. Mexicans, Indians, Somali's all speak their own languages, stay in their ethnic enclave sand there is zero attempt whatsoever to become American. None. It's almost as if the entire concept of "Americanization" is just dead now and we've stopped pretending people (other then Europeans and East Asians) assimilate.

Part of the reason is the big push to make Spanish and other foreign languages integrated into the whole structure of the country. From all the mexican radio stations to government efforts local and federally to let these fuckers never have to learn one word of english. When you're encouraged to not even change the way you talk, why should you try to integrate at all?
I also suspect that with the internet it's way easier to keep in touch with those back home so you're not cut off from the original culture either.

They still hold power in some areas, and have allies, sympathizers, and troon jannies still scattered through society -- particularly near the levers that control the flow of information. If you see shit being posted about something happening, archive it. It will be deleted.

There is a thread on archive tools, but for the extra lazy niggers in this thread, your go-to tools should be Archive Today, Ghost Archive, and the Internet Archive. For videos on youtube, use PreserveTube. For extra proof that you are not a faggot like I am, double archive stuff. If you think it is particularly important and at risk of being deleted, triple archive it. Some pages only get partially archived under one tool or another; using multiple archive tools gives a better chance that all the important information will be captured.

We're going to see some spicy shit this summer. Don't let it get memory-holed.
