Satan really outdid himself when he invented modern-day trannies.

They're the human version of sand. Coarse (power tripping, abrasive personalities), rough (fragile egos with superiority complexes), irritating (to normal people) and they somehow find their way into good/cool nerdy things like video game trivia, preservation, emulation, modding, speedrunning, etc and make them entirely unusable to the average person.

Is it that fucking hard to stay on topic and just focus on your dumb little datamining wiki? Do you really have to weaponize the entire site for the sake of your own dumb little personal grudge against a different, unrelated website?

Speaking of larping as a violent retard, though, I'm thinking about finally trying Hotline Miami. I've heard good things the last 10 years gameplay-wise but there was always some pretentious faggot fan hovering around saying it has some hipster nonsense message about le relationship between le player and le violence Spec Ops The Line style, and honestly I really don't want to be lectured by a video game whose main gameplay loop is blowing peoples heads off.

The story is minimal, and less about the pseudo intellectual shit and more alternate history where MKultra is used to cause M.A.D"

There are some abstract scenes with representations of the character's psyche, not the player. Troons inserted this themselves on top of that. It doesn't actually have any representation in game.

I just have a low tolerance for philosophical condescension in my video games these days, most game devs have no fucking clue what they're actually talking about when it comes to anything besides video games and most of the "deep" questions they ask are usually leading and not deep at all.

Spent the evening manually scraping the articles for about a dozen different games and their seemingly endless sub-pages, and in the meantime the thread doubled in size, good lord lmao.

One thing I've noticed, especially on the more popular articles, is how incredibly lazy and sloppy the editors are getting in regards to adding new info to pages and general upkeep, and it's all pinned right at the top of the page in a To-do info box. Take this one from Super Mario 64 for example:

There's no telling how long this list has been growing. Article was last updated in fucking April. This is arguably one of the most popular articles on the entire wiki, and the editors are essentially barking at each other to check the discord for new content. What a pathetic joke.

Specifically, you know this is being done in the "wrong" place because it sends a snarky "lol m'kay well you do you, tee-hee!" response instead of doing what you should be doing (silently dropping the traffic, right there in the kernel firewall, before it ever gets to nginx).
