ETA: A update on the PAWS Kuwait situation. Yesterday I posted an article about an alleged arson attack on the shelter in 2019, well a few months after that attack that killed some of the animals, there was a gun attack on the shelter.

Fifty animals were apparently shot dead in this gun attack. The article states it is the fourth attack on the shelter since May of that year (2019).

This is such bad luck to have, and all in the same year they was getting exposed foe how they were treating the animals in their care.

I'm telling you, these Paws people are up to no goddamn good.

I think the mass amount of strays being ignored in that country sends a clear message about their overall attitudes regarding compassion for stray animals. And don't forget, Chantal also reached out to other charities, and those charities just made a public message to distance themselves from her and left it at that. None of them decided to start a friggin war over it - just this woman (who quite possibly is as mentally ill as Chantal). If she doesn't have clean hands, then let it ALL be brought to the light. And if that makes PawsKaren look bad, then it does and Chantal can have her micro-win. There are people considering sending donations to them - if they aren't caring for the animals properly, then there are other charities that people can send their money to. I dunno, to me, I could see that as a more important reason for these people to dig into this, than the reason of not doing it for the sake of Chinny's ego.

Besides, no matter how sketchy this particular branch of paws may or may not be, it doesn't change the fact that Chinny has been using the visa system in a way not intended, working on a tourist visa, driving without a licence, electronically panhandling, filming areas she shouldn't have been, etc. The government will review that and make a decision based on her actions, not based on how many strays were killed while in the care of this organization.
