No, and the distinction is pretty obvious once you know about it. While the Dabbleverse is centered on John Melendez, if anyone is the focal point of the Hackverse it’s Kevin Brennan. Love him or hate him (many of us love AND hate him), he is the polarizing anchor who still has the must-watch stream. The Hackverse is fueled by harsh call-outs and IRL drama resulting from show beefs. Whereas the Dverse is intensely focused on John, the Hackverse is constantly creating and cycling through new feuds and events, with many audience members leveling up to become show regulars (e.g. Mr. Kill Everything, KarmicX, Clearwater Chad, Carlos Danger, et al.). The through-line for both is a rich vein of has-been or never-was comedians (and “comedians”), many of whom have been around since the ‘80s or ‘90s. Personally I have never watched any of the Dabbleverse shows, except in clip form after something crazy happened.
