Ultimately this debate boils down to which of these she values the most: control, clout, or money.
One can make arguments for which of each of these she cares about the most/least based on actions and statements. I believe she at most has to pick two, because having all three is unsustainable. It's like one of those triangles to pick between a balance of speed, power, and defense. Right now she has complete control over Ian. But while she used to have the clout and money that came with him, her control caused both of the other two qualities to completely wither away.

She could go with another popular and financially successful e-celeb boyfriend, but that would result in the same failures were she to do the same to him as she did to Ian. If she isn't a complete control freak succubus and just sits back while he does his thing, passively leeching off his status and money, she is no longer controlling, which would drive her crazy, and is probably impossible for her to do long term.
