However, with Anisa-and-I I am starting to suspect that his father after getting out of prison returned home to a babied spoiled idubbbz who grew up to be a man in his mid 20s living in their home making minecraft videos and refusing to get a job. I am sure he tried to make up for time lost being his father and told him to act like a man. It makes a lot of sense why he is so sensitive to "toXixiXicC MasCulInitY" and cries whenever a male yells near him, fucking pussy.
Gonna sperg out on some Pewdiepie lore. I know Pewdiepie and Ian get compared a lot for going on the opposite route, but i think it's relevant. Pewdiepie could've easily been Ian. I always found him boring but i kept up with him throughout the years because i enjoyed Marzia's content.
Pewdiepie too was a man in his 20s who didn't know what to do and just made videos about playing video games. His only real job was selling hot dogs that he quit. His parents didn't approve of the youtube thing, like most parents would.
A common misconception is that he was dating Marzia before he was a youtuber, but she messaged him on fb when he was gaining popularity (not a lot of views by nowadays standards but early youtube) because she enjoyed his videos and they hit it off.
Pewdiepie also swayed his content by whatever the current popular thing was, his edgy era was probably as disingenious as Ian's was, but Pewdiepie recovered well enough (despite causing the adpocalypse). He was smart enough to grow up with his audience and never insult or disavow them, no matter how much they brought up the bridge incident.
I think he had issues with his "masculinity" as well, because on a vlog in Greece he mentioned how this man asked if he's gay and it really bothered him, but he didn't try to redefine masculinity because he was seething and hate on masculine men and ask them to be bitches, he just matured and started working out.
The biggest difference was probably the significant other he had to go through all that for. Marzia, like Anisa, was most known for being "someone's gf". But Marzia was never bothered and made content about her own interests like sewing, vlogs, editing and games she enjoyed. She had her own audience, all women, who shared her interests, enjoyed her content and when Felix was brought up it was natural, because he was her boyfriend.
Also one big difference, Marzia never engaged in drama. She had a PULL thread at one point, which was really stupid because they were digging into every minor thing because she wasn't a lolcow and wasn't controversial. But it gained big traction and they dug up her parents' fb pages and found out they named their dog after Mussolini. The thread was getting popular and shortly after Marzia announced she's quitting youtube and social media.
I think that thread was the reason, because she genuinely didn't want to he associated with drama or have her life dissected online, while Anisa enjoys it. She reads kiwifarms, we have had multiple confirmations. It's like when she posts it's a direct response to us.
She's the opposite of Marzia, when she could've easily been her. Everyone could've forgotten about the titty streaming she wanted to denounce. If she was actually funny, charming and had actual interests to share. If she wasn't desperate to be "the star". Ian could've stayed relevant while making boring content like Pewdiepie, because he had a loyal audience. If Anisa didn't hate women so much, she could've had a supportive female audience.
Ian could've been a "real man". He could've matured, healed whatever insecurities he has about his masculinity, still have millions in the bank from youtube, kids to raise. Have his real focus be on his personal relationships and his personal life, not fighting for his life to stay relevant online and mutilate his body, turning into the lolcow of the year.
