without WW1 the communists probably never come to power. WW1 was the flashpoint for many of the awful things happening today, actually.
A minor but culturally impactful thing to mention about WW1: a stray bullet could have taken Tolkien from us. Who knows how much never came into this world from the death of someone who never had their opportunity to breathe creation into their life's work.

This crowd should all die though. They are not capable of creating works that will be remembered for centuries.

Statement from former Vice-President Kamala Harris:

“Los Angeles is my home. And like so many Americans, I am appalled at what we are witnessing on the streets of our city.

Deploying the National Guard is a dangerous escalation meant to provoke chaos. In addition to the recent ICE raids in Southern California and across our nation, it is part of the Trump Administration's cruel, calculated agenda to spread panic and division.

This Administration's actions are not about public safety - they're about stoking fear. Fear of a community demanding dignity and due process.

Protest is a powerful tool - essential in the fight for justice.

And as the LAPD, Mayor, and Governor have noted, demonstrations in defense of our immigrant neighbors have been overwhelmingly peaceful.

I continue to support the millions of Americans who are standing up to protect our most fundamental rights and freedoms.”
...how is she a former prosecutor, again? Like, Kamala does realize that illegal immigrants aren't American citizens, so Trump isn't stifling any American's rights or freedoms? 'cause they aren't Americans!

If an American went overseas to, IDK, Indonesia, and broke a shit ton of said countries laws (overstaying visas, dealing drugs, etc), the Democrats wouldn't be fighting for the American to be treated as an Indonesian citizen. So why are they doing that with foreigners inside the US?

"Unlawful"

Motherfucker, what is "Federalization?" The President can take command and control of a State's national guard whenever for whatever reason they feel like. How do you think all those Nat Guard units wound up deployed over in the sandbox?
He can. I don't believe for a second they are standing down. Prove it.

That feels a lot like balkan - yugo wars.
From a happy-merry-go-around multicultural society to mass murder, bloody carnage, starvation and complete destruction of whole country because you simply cannot hold different cultures and opinions together forever.
I don't think it's quite that bad yet. But it does prove the modern idea of America being a melting pot of all cultures false. But that's because it's been pitched wrong for generations. Hear me out, it's a bit autistic, a 'melting pot' is sold to people as a thing that you can dump anything into and it all becomes one. This isn't true for any analogous 'melting pot' like a soup pot, or a fondue pot or a crucible. If you want to make soup, fondue or good alloys then you need to know what you want first and then follow a recipe and stick to specific ingredients to get the desired outcome. If you don't know what you're making and throw everything into your 'melting pot' then all you'll make is something maybe usable but more than likely it's just going to be shit.

You can tell they're nowhere near as prepared or supported this time. They got trapped really easily on that freeway.

Nah fuck off. You only call it chaos because you don't support it. There are no rights, freedoms, community or anything in a society that treats foreign invaders better than its own citizens.
"Don't let them kettle us!"
>Gets kettled

Herding them now. No escape routes up there and I doubt they had thought of that ahead of time.
"PLEASE DIS-PURSE"
