Look, I get the sentiment, however when you put an ounce of thought into this, this is such a midwit take. Law enforcement can't be a charity case. Sure it can exploitative, but the argument police departments shouldn't be financially solvent is lunacy. Do you really want your taxes constantly increasing every time they need an expansion or investment? All those fines don't just vanish, they go towards keeping these places running. You need government institutions to be solvent to be at least somewhat self-sustaining.

He also can't respond to the national guard and marine deployment by calling up his remaining 20k guards because he doesnt have the political pull.

You are missing the point completely, I'm not asking for Total Beaner Death via the guards or whatever. My point is that the Left didn't get to enact reform and brute force borderline authoritarian policy changes by being perfectly content with every step taken during the Long March through the Institutions. They rallied to get what they want and then demanded more even after they won, and when they don't get more they moralize/move money/shift the Overton window far enough to create the conditions necessary to keep winning. That's what "forcing behaviors" means - the Left who wanted to win made it untenable for the center-Left/Classical Libs to refuse to conform to their agenda.

MAGA has a terrible habit of getting really hyped when Trump does basically fucking anything even as he surrounds himself with neocons and merchants or drags his feet or fails fulfill promises or... you get the idea. Satisfaction engenders contentment and there really is no need to be content right now, people should be demanding more from Trump regarding immigration as a whole even if in this particular circumstance it isn't the best idea to just mow down brown rioters for doing brown rioter shit. (Still a good idea, tho.)

Yes. A professor from out of state bragged about bringing his gun(across state lines) and threatening him with the weapon as he drove by. I forget the school but I am pretty sure he faced low to no consequences. I am pretty sure the confession has never been allowed to be considered.

Almost daily during protests. Sadly with only non-lethal rounds. There hasn't been any lethal rounds being used for a long while, at least in these last two decades.
