I was rewatching the Sam hyde video of the documentary and the start is him trying to frame it as positive as possible to idubbbz. That means a lot more when its coming from a guy that is known to be a giant asshole.

Idk Macaiyla strikes me as a very insecure woman who tries to be edgy and cool. Not trying to play armchair psychologist or anything, but it really seems like the guy has a weak sense of self. The coach saying he'd improve once he got away from Anisa, and him admitting he doesn’t even know how to function without her, huge red flag. He was always kind of hollow, just picking up bits of whoever he was around. Back then, at least he had decent people influencing him. But once Anisa isolated him, it’s like that same emptiness just got filled with her BPD energy. I really think Ian is holding Anisa back.
