It's not really the movies or stories themselves. Its just the fandom and culture that they spawned that influences leftists. It's a recruiting and propaganda tactic. It's pure platforming. They don't actually like Star Wars. They just like calling themselves the Rebels. Otherwise you'd see much more Harry Potter stuff. Why? Harry Potter is legitimately everything these people stand for. Voldemort is literally Hitler. The Death Eaters are an evil version of the KKK. Yet you hardly see anything about that. Why? Because despite the meme being "Read Another Book":

There are plenty of leftists who unironically get Star Wars tattoo'd on their fucking bodies but if you ask them what their favorite movie is, they'll say Revenge of the Sith because they never saw any of the others. This is how shallow, vapid, and stupid these people are. None of it is real. You have plenty of people who scream how they love "Hazbin Hotel" but have never seen a single episode. That's why all these woke movies and TV shows fail. The left doesn't watch them! They'll only claim to online, but you'll find plenty of people who will claim to be massive Harry Potter fans and have never even seen all of the movies. It's really fun to ask them questions and watch them squirm.

Of fucking course a bunch of random dudes wandering around the Capitol with flags is going to have more meaning than a bunch of fat retards burning down LA. The Capitol is symbolically untouchable because it's where laws, the symbolic rules that society agrees on, are voted on, whereas LA has always been a shithole.

Pablo Escobar was a Colombian druglord, in Colombia, not Mexico. The US's murder rate at current is 6.8, after 2 decades of decline, Mexico's was at 8 in 2007. You're talking of a Mexico that was about as safe murder-wise as the US was in 2002.
