1. Identity
2. Meaning/purpose in life

Religious propaganda was used all the time in the medieval period, and myths according to Plato were useful for their moral content.

We're starting to derail a thread that's moving so fast as it is so we're gonna have to wrap this up but one last thing I wanted to point out another difference between Lucas SW and Disney SW (specifically Gilroy's Andor) is that Lucas intended for Star Wars to be an escape from the real world while Gilroy likes to insinuate that Andor is a reflection of the real world. Two very different things.

Watching all these stupid protestors makes me think how much more dangerous they would be if they were white and organized.

A reminder that a missile strike was considered to take out Marvin Heemeyer because he made his Killdozer. Follow the way of the white man and build something worthy enough to warrant a missile strike before you even think about calling yourself "ungovernable".

To prevent a derail, I’ll say this-the emergence of modern science in opposition to the Bible happened in Christian societies often by Christian’s-if the scientific method vindicated Usher and Genesis literally-we would be reading about Eden in science textbooks.
