Tony may be a retard, but he's not stupid. He realises that there are enough eyes on him that he can't even say normal-for-troons stuff without it looking weird. I'm almost impressed with Tony's grift, because he really did succeed in a way. He worked out a niche area (reporting on transgender issues by an actual transgender) where he could rise to the top with minimal effort.

The bar was extremely low, because it only required two things 1) be a trans woman (no one cares about transmen lol) and 2) don't publicly crash out or do embarrassing horny things on main. And yet, due to the general nature of autogynephilia, every other transwoman who attempted the grift is excluded by constantly failing 2). Tony found a hole in the grift market and exploited it.

(I say almost impressed, of course, because the grift required him to cut his dick off and marry a man despite being heterosexual. So it's actually not impressive at all)

I think he'll ride out his current troubles, because he's obtained a core fanbase of "moms of transgender kids" and other semi-normies who got sucked into the cult are too far gone to leave. He has no competition for that audience, because every other genuine churnsgender "reporter" is too alienating to normies due to general craziness or public degeneracy.
