Bristol County is the most Republican in the entire state of Massachusetts, but it doesn't mean shit when the state legislature has 160 members and only around 25 of them are Republicans. It's a uniparty state controlled by Democrat legislators, judges, and executives.
Yeah I never understood why people try to use special elections as a weathervane for midterms or the body politic

While this is an interesting post I think your seeing the “left” as just a huge monolith. It think this is just a case of the leadership losing control of their pets
the strategy of the obama era liberal intelligensia was to get the weather underground cryptofascists to side with the neoconservative clinton era dixiecrat mainstream by complaining about minority groups to create a new political coalition. if you look at it that way i dont think they had a plan to control the outcome they just hoped that it would sweep away conservative sentiment in the country but instead it obviously seems to have emboldened it

So, not saying the price hikes since 2020 were a good thing by any measure. However, this is probably a bad sign not a good sign. Tariffs do impact the supply chain. We know that. How big the effect you think it is, whatever, but it does impact it, especially if it brings uncertainty or suddenness. Yet, prices ticked down?????

Contra the talking-heads, we've been experiencing strong deflationary pressures on the back-end of the global financial system for awhile. This suggests we're at risk of a 2008 style crash.
Nigger, the median home price increased by like $90k in four years and you’re saying WHAT about “back end deflationary pressure”? Then take your dick pump off your asshole

Of course there needs to be a crash, nothing on earth justifies current prices. It’s just made up corpo stoogery that happened because speculators got their wish come true during a corrupt administration

Ever notice how many of our elected representatives make their side hustle in real estate investment?

But yeah trump is crashing the economy, oh no, it’s not like Vietnamese people work even cheaper than Chinese

So besides copycat protests and riots spreading to Chicago and New York, what has happened over the past 2 days or so? I have been touching grass and haven't been paying as close attention to the situation as I would like.
The Trump administration has been playing chicken with the libshit mayor and governor in California. They were claiming there is no problem with the protests and they're totally under control except a few outside agitators. Trump said no it is not under control, I am sending in 700 marines. Then they suddenly said woah buddy and declared a state of emergency and enforced a curfew last night but still turned around and blamed Trump, somehow.

Oh, yeah, speaking of Massachusetts: there have been a shitload of ICE raids all over that state recently.

"ICE mandate to arrest 3,000 immigrants per day fuels raids in Massachusetts communities" (archive sites not working at the moment). It's to the point that Hispanic-heavy neighborhoods are very quiet and no one is out on the streets because they're trying to avoid ICE. It's also leading to some mistakes being made: immigration authorities arrested a suspected illegal immigrant in Lynn, MA and got caught driving around with him until picking a cemetery to take him in (no cameras) and beat the shit out of him. The guy was legal, all charges were dropped, and there's footage of law enforcement taking him into the cemetery for no apparent reason. However, in Massachusetts, law enforcement and the judicial system go hand in hand, so they get away with stuff like this all the time even though it's a proglib state.

Then I go to the spics, and I can get a set with 70% tread life, mounted, balanced and installed in 20 minutes for $250
Are they, by chance, LEGAL citizens?

They're never legal citizens, it's always in a chop shop from a bad part of town, and 9/10 the parts the Latinos use are stolen.

I speak from experience being a broke college kid who couldn't afford going to a proper body shop to fix his hoopty and needed to get the job done at the shady Latino garages if I wanted to keep my car.

I'll even concede that they do good work because they want to give an incentive for customers to keep coming back. The catch is that I never feel good about taking money out of my local economy to support the black market.

I do agree that local businesses are outcompeted on price, but that's largely because they're going through official channels to procure parts, paying their formally trained workers a wage befitting their experience, and paying for rent, licensing fees, regulatory hurdles, the list goes on and on.

You're paying a premium for services that go through legitimate channels, and what you receive in return is an experience where you don't have to haggle or otherwise rely on Google translate to get your point across.

Beyond that, patronising your local mechanics and body shops keeps your money within the legal economy. The money you pay them funds not only their business, but their workers, their families, and the taxes (ideally but sadly not always) taken from everyone involved funds the public services that we all make use of daily: road maintenance, fixing bridges, garbage collection, municipal water supply, the list goes on and on.

When you patron the black market for any reason, you are contributing to its existence and all the stuff that it entails. You fund not just the shady Latinos who fix your shit after haggling, but you also give them an incentive to stay and keep working. The money you pay them stays cash-only, going into whatever odds and ends to sustain that lifestyle. He takes his cut, but so do the people who supply him with stolen car parts, the people who launder profits overseas via Western Union, and possibly any cartels/traffickers who brought him or his family over to America that are still collecting debts.

As I said earlier, I'm guilty of doing this in the past and it is, ostensibly, a bad thing perceived necessity be damned. My aunt had her Oldsmobile stolen like a decade ago, and I guarantee you it ended up getting dissected and its parts scattered throughout various junkyards and chop shops across the tri-state area. Keep that mental image in mind the next time you need body work done.

You're closer. It's about never stagnating. You could call it revolution, but it's more than that. It's striving for more. It's going to Mars. That shit. Mexicans and beaners in general clash with this. They just want to raid the coffers without giving any back.
I don't disagree. I'm potentially splitting hairs here but the focus on calling it revolution specifically was in consideration for those who benefit from the stagnation and thus being continuously at odds with those who do. Overthrowing the "order" is revolution, so anything that results in a grand shift of the status quo, even peacefully at the ballot box, could constitute. The reason why the illegals/rioters actions don't constitute as such is because they're not desiring change, they merely want to continue the status quo, the one which enables and thus benefits them by allowing them to continue their criminal activity (being in the USA illegally) and, yeah, "raid the coffers" (live on the taxpayer's dime). Anyone not within the group of rioters/illegals who enables or gives excuses for their behaviour benefits in some fashion from what they're doing.

As for the non-Mexicans/illegals joining them? For non-whites it's probably solidarity with a fellow minority group, but white liberals/leftists are harder to pin on exactly but I have my own theory why this came to be.

The left's core of liberalism combined with their typical age demographics (they're younger ergo more susceptible to emotional) makes them easier to subvert/control, which becomes a problem if it sticks. Beside the Liberal inclination for Marxists/Leftism over Conservatism/Rightism, the whole "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it" only goes so far as their emotional maturity allows and considering how young many of them are, so with this in mind it's no surprise the online Left has been completely captured by Marxist subversion.

For many, this might've occurred in the education system, which is rife with critical theory* inspired curriculum that embeds white students with guilt and it's non-white students entitlement, which you have to hope they grow out of or gets countered by outside influences.

The modern left are ultimately just liberals who, probably during their formative years (10-25), swapped tolerance for intolerance and all it took for some online, I theorise, was a fucking comic that painted the only intolerants in society as Nazis, ergo non-Nazis could not be intolerant (similarly subverted, the only form of "intolerant" to the Left now is racial/sexual intolerance — intolerance of opinion isn't a thing). So now they created an exception to freedom of speech (Nazis), and so you just have to broaden the definition of Nazi to have anyone they don't like fit within it; if they couldn't make someone fit the new definition, then they'd just unironically legitimise "guilt by association" and boom, now everyone who doesn't side with you is a Nazi. Painting Trump as being a Fascist/Nazi (or that some of his followers are), and the idea that tolerance of said Nazis makes you one in turn by enabling them, you eventually have a left-wing who believes that all of their ideological opponents should not have a space to voice anything because their "kindness" will eventually be their undoing. They ignore the hole in their logic that in order for the "intolerant" (Nazis I.E. everyone not-Left) to seize power, society has to be fractured in such a way which allows it, which they don't help by being intolerant.

The comic that underpins the Leftist approach to speech:

Edit: I forgot to mention specifically the breakdown of why they're siding with the illegals/rioters:
1. Guilt (Mexicans, illegal or otherwise, are entitled to remain due to past transgressions)
2. Rebellion (They hate the "right" because they've been categorically re-defined as Nazis, or Nazi-adjacent if they're being generous. Their rebellion is thus a virtuous act)
3. Opportunism (They benefit in some way, either politically or materially as they get to loot vulnerable stores and commit vandalism without impunity)
All of these also come served with a hatred of America itself, nation or concept, since it's either being controlled as of present by "Nazis" and thus not on the road for moral salvation (under the Dems or some other Leftist leader) or is deserving of its strife as a result of being.

*Critical Theory is peak midwittery and knowing how it works explains why it was able to spread as well as it did. To sum: it seeks to change society by examining and challenging power structures. However, said "examining" is the easiest thing in the world and because it's so easy, anyone who comes up with a "theory" feels like Newton and believes because it makes sense to them and has a built-in counter to opposing rhetoric (remember the quotes in my reply?) it can't be wrong. It's the easiest way for an idiot to feel intelligent.

Musk and Trump are slowly making up. Gavin Newsom cucked out on becoming Robert E. Lee. Trump has also been giving more speeches
Musk has only made himself slightly less fucked and comparing Newsom to Lee meets the standard of defamation. Lee was the guy tapped to take a unit of US Marines to put down John Brown's retardation at Harper's Ferry, which was incidentally a race-based insurrection that ironically involved the death of a young black man who put up resistance to Brown trying to steal his fucking train.

Incidentally John Brown was a fucking lolcow.

This Hassan Nigger pisses me off so much and I wonder why he isn't questioned and arrested for sharing commie terroristic misinformation. I wish he's sent back to Turkey so their police would beat his ass up for talking shit against their system. I mean if he hates the USA so much why doesn't he move to Turkey anyway?
And losing all the comfort and luxuries he accumulated due to being a nepo baby ?
Maybe when the government will finally take off the gloves but since then he will laugh at Americans while abusing everything the USA can offer him.

Youtube has been run by Indians and women for a long time.
Jim outlived Susan so at least the universe has some sense of justice.

Hes a huge coward who will bolt when things get dicey. When the heat gets turned up you can find him on the frontlines of ordering frozen yogurt.
I wish he's sent back to Turkey so their police would beat his ass up for talking shit against their system.
Hes a pan arabist retard. If he went to turkey his only complaint would be how white parts of it are. He'd handwaive any of the poorer human rights conditions as culture or a product western imperialism.
I mean if he hates the USA so much why doesn't he move to Turkey anyway?
Can't grift lucratively there and he isn't a Muslim.
Nah, I just assumed the place was a bunch of young autists (e.g. people like me). Sorry, y’all.
No worries brother.
Have a nice day.

Because Turkey is stolen land and Hussan is a strong supporter of land being returned to its rightful owners. That is why he is a big supporter of Anatolia being returned to the Greeks, right?

Good take. Also mixes exponentially make it worse. I remember a dude in my area who was mentally ill AND mixing weed, meth, booze, whatever he could get his hands on. I think once I heard of him getting mental help and looking decent for like a day, but he quickly went back to it. I think he was also skitzophenic, but if he got that before or AFTER drugs is unclear.

No offense to @Sammich but I kinda wish homeless assistance was tiered.

IE if you are otherwise good but without a home / job, top tier help.
if you are on drugs, still some help, but LESS prioritized
if you are on drugs, violent, ect and have been crazy for over a year with no signs of improvement, just banned from assistance. Some people aren't fixable
is it just me, but weed and booze always just makes me sleepy. am I a docile drunk or something?
