Urgh that's why I haven't gotten my next .22lr pistol yet.I presume you're talking about a Mk.III or Mk.IV, but I highly recommend the SR-22, if you ever intend to teach someone to shoot. The ergonomics are very similar to most common compact and service pistols. I've never handed it to a new shooter, with a half-size silhouette at three yards, and had them not fall in love with shooting. It's also cheap and has a decent trigger. The Mk.IV is also a good teaching gun, but not having a normal slide seems to throw new shooters a bit.
Area 51 and Jurassic Park were the best onessilent scope was an amazing shooter arcade game for its time. i played that and area 51 mostly, although time crises and house of the dead was better with friends.
Especially when modern kydex and kydex/leather holsters exist.A cloth OWB holster that is janky, loose, and has poor retention. That's not safe.
I'd count it as technically a level two but practically a level one retention holster as in almost one motion you can unbuckle and lift the flap to have complete control of the gun. If I were to open carry in public safely I'd want it to be with at least a real level 2 kydex holster for rigidity and making it hard(er) for someone to yank it out.
Was the flap properly closed on the firearm even?
Ohh what woven one is niceI OC with a basket-weave thumb break leather holster similar to this one:

for my automatic pistols i use the old military m12 bianchi holster. fits just about anything and is built like a tank.

PSA ate them alive. PSA can sell AR lowers all day for $30-$40 and make a bit of money.Just caught FocusTripp’s latest stream, and it looks like Anderson Mfg is possibly going out of business? At the very least, none of their listings for full firearms or lowers seem to work on their site anymore.
Pour one out for the Poverty Pony, boys.
Yep. Trump 2.0 was a massive kick in the nuts to the gun industry.their profit margin couldn't have been much, and now that Trumps back in office another slump is coming for the tactical part of the industry.
Tactical firearms like AR's and such are very dependent on having a aura of fear and doom in the US to make good money. record profits during the summer of love after george floyd OD'd, but early on in the first trump admin profits hit rock bottom.
and you have the fact that AR's, NV, armor, lasers, and all that hype beast shit have reached the point of oversaturation. There is too much to choose from spreading the money too thin.
I got the stainless 10/22 in the black polymer stock so I can then put the barrel and action in a REALLY NICE wood stock later.View attachment 7468786
This is the one i want tbh. Stainless barrel, satin stock, really just pretty all around. Ill look into a 22 pistol sometime. But i find this to be what i want. I found shooting the 10/22 to be insanely fun. I want one that'll last 100 years but look like its from the 1950's.
Ugh at the point just get a legit baby Browning.the price of these went up significantly in the last year because jiminez and phoenix finally went out of business so these are now collectible junk instead of just junk. they were never really worth anything and theres enough on the secondary market to keep the supply of them in pawn shops steady, but they used to be as cheap as $70 and now theyre being listed for like $250 lmao. since this is the only income source these geriatrics have they're fucking vicious about it
You missed the VP9SK and P30SK (and P2000SK), all of which are G26 sized.Too many choices. I went with the CSX, but there are a ton of subcompact 9mm double stacks out there right now. I tried to list them from smallest to largest.
Hellcat
Reflex
MC2SC
CR920
MC9
CC9
X9
GX4
Max-9
Shield Plus
CSX
P-10S
PPQ SC
G26
Did I forget any? No, not the P365, I didn't forget it I omitted it because sig has joined cheaperthandirt on my firearms world shit list. I don't consider single stack 9mm subcompacts worth buying now that you can get more capacity out of a gun the same size. I consider this class 4.6" or less in height and barrel lengths of 3.5" or less. Some people consider stuff like the G43X or PX4 Storm subcompacts but no, those are as tall as a G19, they aren't subcompacts. Speaking of that, why would anyone buy a G43X? It's as tall as a G19 but has a G26 length slide, the length is the easy part for concealment, the grip and thickness is what makes bigger guns harder to conceal. Yeah, it's narrower than a G19 by a little, but the G26 has the same barrel length and capacity, it's probably easier to conceal with its shorter grip.
Listen here, look, listen.Speaking of that, why would anyone buy a G43X?
Good catch. I had kind of ignored every gun that was as thick as or thicker than a G26 in my search, so when I tacked the PPQ and G26 on there at the end I probably forgot about fat or extremely expensive guns like the Wilson X9.You missed the VP9SK and P30SK (and P2000SK), all of which are G26 sized.
The way I look at it, polymer pistols in general are tools, not range toys, especially true of true subcompacts. They aren't fun to shoot, they're defensive tools. Shoot them enough to stay proficient but forget about fun or plinking. Though there are some exceptions. The larger PPQ, especially the M1, is a great shooter, moreso than any comparable polymer pistol of that size class (defined by the G19).Nor is it particularly fun to shoot, though I suspect this may just be a problem with compact polymer pistols in general.
Everyone raves about how good the SK's shoot, so I'll probably pick up a P30SK one of these days.Good catch. I had kind of ignored every gun that was as thick as or thicker than a G26 in my search, so when I tacked the PPQ and G26 on there at the end I probably forgot about fat or extremely expensive guns like the Wilson X9.
As for helping people choose I have little personal input since I only personally used the Reflex, Hellcat, Shield Plus and CSX. I've heard the MC9 has a good trigger and is nice to shoot, but I've also heard it had some recoil spring or guide rod issues.
yest it is. Mine is a El paso saddlery model #2 thumb break lined with yellow pig skin made for my 3 inch Colt python. here is the actual holster. I've carried it almost daily for near 8 months with no discernible wear.Ohh what woven one is nice
Could be cool.Apparently Bushmaster is bringing back the ACR. I haven't heard a lot about it yet. I wonder what changes/updates they've made.
NEVER .25View attachment 7482781
Get yourself one of these bad boys.
Raven Arms MP-25.
The hipoint of saturday night specials, this safetyless midget holds 6 rounds of .25 acp in a package that could fit in your grundle.
AND at an average price point of about 150 bucks, you can't beat it, except with almost everything on the market now.
It's part of their fetish. These people constantly self report. That scarlet mf wants to be seen a true and honest womxn but then posts the most man coded unfeminine pictures he has. At least his tranny mate looks like he's trying harder.
It depends entirely on who does it, there are some really shitty banana-yellow "gold" cerakote jobs out there.Has anyone in a fit of lets say redneck inspiration ceracoated an AK of the drako or krink persuasion gold? And if so how did it turn out?
I swear, every single time I hear or see a girl thats interested in gun sphere stuff that isnt target shooting with .22s, trap, or handguns, that she winds up being a he.I didn't have any particular reason to make this besides a chance discovery of "Eva" (leading to the discovery of the other two) but hey, This is Kiwifams, this is what we do and besides, we are always watching.
I know the second gen CSX is pretty nice, but the first gen is a real acquired taste.Too many choices. I went with the CSX
Yeah it's a problem. I know a woman who's a super gun autist who's absolutely sick of it.I swear, every single time I hear or see a girl thats interested in gun sphere stuff that isnt target shooting with .22s, trap, or handguns, that she winds up being a he.
Every. Single. Time

That trigger sucks so much.
The only update is probably adding a zero to the pricetag... UghApparently Bushmaster is bringing back the ACR. I haven't heard a lot about it yet. I wonder what changes/updates they've made.
Exactly as expected. Natal females in the gun space are usually gun bunnies, legit autistic types or ones that kinda happened upon it.I swear, every single time I hear or see a girl thats interested in gun sphere stuff that isnt target shooting with .22s, trap, or handguns, that she winds up being a he.

I'd be annoyed too at the troonery.Yeah it's a problem. I know a woman who's a super gun autist who's absolutely sick of it.
