There's a good chance that Iran may already have some Russian nuclear warheads that they're hiding. There's been many Russian millitary cargo flights to Iran last year. Russia giving Iran nukes would be a good counter to NATO's escalations in Ukraine instead of Russia going to full scale war with NATO unprepared. If Iran detonated a nuclear weapon it would push all funding and support from the war in Ukraine to Iran instead. Iran has been "weeks away from making nuclear weapons" for almost 30 years now...
