lord miles talks a lot of shit but guy never answers why the taliban imprisoned him then let him go at the first sign of balding. he also mentioned watching barbie with them, very spiritually gay behavior. guy is full of it, I remember his homeless NYC arc where he pretended he was in danger sleeping on the streets of one of the safest parts of NYC
He's a tradcath LARPer in the same vein as Fuentes ultimately, and a rootless cosmopolitan rich boy who would "switch teams" if it benefited him. He's not someone to be taken seriously. He can be funny though.
In my area, every 50501 protest was the EXACT same group of dozen or so retirees who went from city to city for their hour-long photo ops.
Propaganda.

Another Marxist (though he pretends not to be), Noam Chomsky, posited that mass communication is the most effective form of societal control there is. Through propaganda alone you can coerce people into thinking what you want them to without direct action on your part, which is called "Manufactured Consent". If they can create the idea that something is widespread, then in theory people will make assumptions that aren't true, and then act on those assumptions in the desired manner (self-censorship, supporting X without knowing why). Now, like Marx who could identify occurrences and whatnot and propose things one could agree with in theory, Chomsky's ideas are predicate that such tactics can't be used by his side, who can only counter the side that does through local action and class-based activism. Meanwhile we saw this in action by the Left to get the population to go along with trannies, Saint Floyd, and every other idea that wasn't actually popular with people yet inexplicably became accepted by them.

Also, fun fact, Chomsky's ideas were couched in the fact society at large was reflexively opposed to Communism, and the threat of the Soviet Union was how America and media forces were able to keep people from embracing it. Similar to Marx's "18th Brumaire of Louis Napoleon" invalidating the Communist Manifesto, he had to modify his original work in order to make his ideas still functional after the fall of the Soviet Union a decade after publication. Much like Marx and Lumpenproles, Chomsky had to change "Anti-Communism" to "The Common Enemy" (replaced "Communism" with "Muslims" after 9/11), introduced the idea of "lenses", and is in part responsible for why any "educated" Marxist doesn't think any corporate or political social pandering can be sincere because it's ultimately being done in service of profit or solidifying conformity/status quo.

Again, like Marx in one respect, you can see the value in his idea (Government + Media + desire for control and profit = subtle propaganda influencing conformity) but Chomsky and the Marxists have it so embedded in them that they are the underdog (because they have to be for their ideology to work) that their ideas can't be proliferated by true believers embedded in the higher echelons of society.

A counter protester on June 10, 2025 arrived on scene to support ICE at the federal building in Seattle.

His sign reads: “100,000 deported, 11 million to go.”

See this is actual bravery. I was in Seattle a few weeks ago and The Marginalized are clearly privileged there. I had half a mind to scribble over graffiti and stickers that they weren't as oppressed as they thought they were. I went to art museums that affected edginess that they were dangerously giving voice to marginalized groups. You know what would be really edgy? Showing the work of some actual white supremacists. Golly, even to show some work from some nice mom who voted Republican sometimes.
I have a conservative old father and I would worry for him standing on the street like this man is. He's a tough old man but not like he used to be. I'd be so worried about him getting walloped by some little piece of shit half his worth who probably doesn't even know if he's a boy or a girl.

I haven't been following this too much, but has anyone seen the roof top Asians yet for the Summer of Love sequel?
No, closest I saw was two Koreans (?) standing guard at the door of a sushi restaurant that a bunch of browns were trying to pillage for liquor. They were holding signs supporting the protest but standing right in front of the door as protesters tried to get past them.

Indications that something's happening right now with Iran. Increased Israeli fighter jet activity reported from my Israeli source, US embassy in Iraq being evacuated, US dependents in Bahrain/Kuwait are authorized to leave (this has never happened before in the WoT)

maritime advisory has been issued, warning of possible military actions that could pose risks to commercial and naval traffic operating in the surrounding waters.

FUCK, im gonna have to get the red bull

i actually disagree with this.
immigration is a political problem and requires political solutions. you boycotting the local beaner chop shop on your own doesn't make a meaningful difference to their bottom line, but it does leave a meaningful hole in your own personal bank account. that's simply not worth it.

now if you were to organize a large network of locals and got them all to join your beaner boycott, then it could actually make a difference. but doing that is near impossible as long as the left has such a tight hold on media and culture (you'd get dragged and canceled hard for trying)
The average person isn't making some stance on immigration or illegal aliens or grandstanding about any of it. They just want their car fixed. The implications are there, sure, but blaming this type of person for being a part of WHY things are so shit is stupid. In reality, it's people who are completely aware of the legal status of the labor they are requesting and engaging with it anyway that are problem. The first step is bringing local awareness to the issue, the second step is putting the money where the mouth is. Everyone I know irl has no fucking idea about some raids that are happening in-state.
I actually addressed this a bit earlier in the thread, but the whole post was wordswordswords and also aforementioned thread is speeding up more than usual, so I see why you missed that one. I agree entirely with becoming active in your local area about it, but to do that as well, you also have to ENGAGE yourself with your own beliefs before convincing others.

Imagine having an internet shitposter dad, yikes.
How about an (uppercase I) Internet shitposting grandfather, hmm?

"Grandpa, what did you do during the Glorious Meme War of 2016?"
"Climb up on my knee here, bud, and let me tell you a story."
I remember those days like they were yesterday. Free AOL install CDs for days, littering the neighborhood.
Who here had a Christmas tree decorated solely with those blasted AOL CD-ROMs? 🤚

Re: that cunt lefty bitch Christy Walton. She is only a Walton heiress by marriage and widowhood, never having had anything to do with the actual business. Indeed, her father-in-law Sam, were he still with us, would pimp-slap her for how she spends the money that his ingenuity and business savvy made possible.

As far as the leftist chimpouts are concerned, I so love my small town where people would be embarrassed beyond measure for being involved in something retarded as that.

Israel attacking Iranian nuclear facilities with American assistance perhaps?

I'm sure you'll still be whistling this tune when the day comes that you find yourself paying $75 for American-slaughtered beef like Ethan Ralph, and you decide to forgo home repairs because labor has spiked 66%.
Sorry, but this is such a dumb argument.

“Hurr durr how will you afford anything if labor is 60% higher hurr durr!”

Well gee, I dunno… Maybe with my own wages which will be 60% higher? It’s a real headscratcher alright!

(And aside from that, what the globohomo faggots who push variants of this narrative always leave out, is that labor in many cases is the smallest part of costs. The labor part on an iPhone for example, is 10-30$)

Of course Greatest Ally has to start shit with Iran just as we're starting to clean up America's streets.
"Oy vey, goys, I can't help but notice you're deploying the military to help put down the spic insurrection we helped start in your country. Sure be a shame if those troops were suddenly needed elsewhere."

im only in favor of slaves if everyone gets to own them
otherwise we're the real slaves

Reddit, which I think is the actual ground zero for this spreading online and not Tumblr (unless users of the latter subverted the former or there was significant overlap), spread literal mis info around the middle 2010s even before Trump started his campaign
Yes and no. It's an opinion humanities majors have held for some time given their revolutionary fantasies, but the spread of it is a little more intricate than people think:

-SomethingAwful was full of Bush era smug libs, who even as far back as around 2003 had been infiltrated and was being actively propagandized by government actors if the old accounts of Goonstation are anything to go by, where spergs trying to play vidya are getting lectured on what we now recognize as proto-intersectionalist philosophy.
-Said smug libs go on to commandeer Reddit through subs like ShitRedditSays, where they disrupt the previously libertarian site by coordinating mass report brigades to humiliate and remove people and subs they find undesirable. Many then go on to become sub owners, admins, or jannies themselves .
-Around 2016, ShareBlue pays several million dollars to buy out r/politics alongside many other major subs and flood them with propaganda. The upvote/downvote system previously used to weed out low effort trolling is now weaponized to more adequately push out dissent against the owners of the propaganda mills. The Goons' raid and false flag tactics are tolerated because they suit the whims of the new owners of the major subs.

-In parallel to mid 2000s SomethingAwful, there is Livejournal. In addition to being sort of the ground zero for a lot of cringe fujo shit, also had a surprisingly active community of adult humanities majors. Things like radical queer theory and other closed circuit philosophy gobbeldygook that was once the sole demense of overly read grad students now had a proper internet presence. It was still somewhat niche even there, but hold with me for a second.
-Enter Tumblr, which starts blowing up around 2010. The userbase is largely art and fandom focused teenage girls and "sensitive" guys. Not dissimilar from LiveJournal, which is why a lot of users from there start making the jump. The humanities majors included. Now you have mid 20s and early 30s women with humanities degrees playing queen bitch to teenagers... and the propagandizing starts.
-The reblog system allows for fast information spread and for gigantic pile ons. Now armed with a new ideology in the form of social justice, the base high on fandom and sex politics coalesce into a new and aggressive strain of highly emotional pornbrained activists ready to jump on any dissenters without knowledge or need to read. Tumblr becomes notorious for its userbase of volatile crybullies and children. With time, these teenagers feed back into the university system, already familiar with humanities propaganda.

-This is where things start to merge. In 2018, Apple threatens to pull Tumblr from the App Store because of its inability to keep teenagers from posting nudes of themselves. While sensible at the surface, it's not a problem that is unique to Tumblr, and other sites in its league don't seem to be facing any of these pressures. With apparently no other way to fix the problem, Tumblr bans porn. The previously mentioned lunatics leave the site en masse with quite a few ending up at Reddit.
-With Reddit already under the control of Goons (which also had plenty of Tumblrites among its ranks thanks to the Danganronpa translation fiasco) and DNC shills, the militant progressive activists fit right in. Thanks to the upvote system, their instinct to immediately dogpile and screech at opposition has the effect of actually being able to remove anything that contradicts their worldview.
-As the lines between internet and IRL start to blend, the ability to remove people from comment sections starts extending to the rest of their thinking, and they become convinced that they should be allowed to remove you from reality.

There's some things I didn't mention like the Autism Holy War or radfem groups that did similar things to Goon infiltrators, but that's about the shape of why Reddit turned into how it is now best I can tell.
