I would make a better claim debunking the idea that it's frivolous but it's very late for me and I can't really concentrate. Who cares that it has similarities to MBTI? Nobody is making you take a test and putting you into stereotypical jobs for your type or anything. It's also psuedoscience technically but who cares? Pseudoscience can run the gambit all the way from things like magic crystals to things that are obvious but aren't "valid" like most trannies being autogynephilic. Socionics is kinda interesting to me because of the intertype relationship theory, it's kind of complex but it's fit very well for some of my friends.
