Diseased Rowling Derangement Syndrome - "TERF/Woke Author Bad!!1"

This is what really pisses me off. Katherine Parkinson was in the IT crowd. Brain child of Graham Linehan, who is one of the most vocally 'twansphobic' humans on earth. But that was fine. She was beloved for that. She joins a HP franchise? she's LITERALLY murdering trans kids.

Both brilliant writers in their fields, both refuse to bend the knee to men in dresses.. But only one receives death threats on a daily basis.

Only difference I can see? JK has a vagina and Glinner doesn't.
The IT Crowd pre-dates Linehan's outspokenness on trans stuff. The actors from the HP and Fantastic Beasts movies weren't criticized for their retroactive support of JKR's opinions.

IDK what the ratio of tweets tweeted to threats received currently looks like for Rowling and Glinner. (Though I'm betting that Harry Potter Lady's much higher profile means it's still going to be her . While it's not that hard to find examples of MtFs employing violent rhetoric and threats towards women, it's hard to separate her sex from her fame when figuring what each factor contributes to the magnitude of malicious missives that she gets.)

"Decades" of social media hell lmao.
It seems pretty clear the time where you have to live in fear of enraging the trannies is drawing to an end.
Walk away from Harry Potter or else we "have" to harass you for decades say people the Guardian want us to believe are well adjusted.
Oh no! The wankers at the Guardian will be "forced" to continue contributing to the climate they've helped create and write another 41,000 wank pieces about how the actors are partially responsible for the ongoing tranny genocide.

They used to call this 'toxic fandom', and it was rightly frowned upon and widely considered a shameful, frankly embarrassing thing to be part of. It was also something The Guardian was well aware of.

It used to be that the sort of people who used to harass actors and actresses in films and TV shows for things they didn't like were rightly considered creepy, entitled and abusive.

Except in this case, apparently, because trannies are never in the wrong about anything.

And this is why you never, ever apologize to troons. It doesn't matter if these people disagree with Rowling or how many public apologies they issue. No matter what they do, troons won't forgive them. It's total submission and dedication to the tranny agenda or nothing.
As an aside, the thing a lot of people don't understand about "never apologise" is that it doesn't mean literally never apologise. It's about recognising that there are times you will be dealing with people who take an apology as an admission of guilt, rather than as an attempt to reach out and heal. The troon cult, like all cults, isn't about lifting people up, but about tearing down their identity and individuality, in order to recreate them as loyal adherents. Unfortunately, the very people who demand apologies from "wrongdoers" will also turn any refusal to apologise into an admission of quilt, and a reason to attack and condemn. It's a classic rhetorical trap.

It's not just in this case, the Guardian and company have always adhered to, "it's fine when we do it."

BLM and Palestine protests vs Anti-Covid or Farmer's Inheritance task protests are a fine example. The former could brandish "kill whitey" signs and drive around Jewish synagogues blaring death threats without acknowledgement while the latter will get called violent at the first available chance.

That's because they're literally fighting for their very existence! Trannies have to be able to yell at people for acting in a show because if they don't they're gonna get shoved into gas chambers!

Most of the comments are still people hyped for new merch. The usual people are there, too, of course. Don’t know if my favorite comment is the one trying desperately to invoke kumbaya or the one that seemingly cannot comprehend that no one is forcing her to consoom.

Damn those are cute especially the potions book cross body. I hope they come to the international store. Or I may have to convince some US friend to accept a parcel for me.

NB for anyone that hasn't seen the scene of the IT Crowd that started everything for Linehan, please treat yourself (Youtube). The biggest joke of course was to have the lovely Lucy Montgomery play a tranny.
"You said you were from Iran!" I'm surprised the episode wasn't removed from streaming services like others from several shows who were deemed "problematic".

It has been removed from All 4.
For a while there to get a 1080p version you needed to source it in french language dub and redub the DVD audio, I think there is an official release of it now. My wife regularly exclaims her disbelief that arguably one of the most popular episodes is hidden from the public.

This was the 2000s when it was totally normal for regular men or women to play trannies and treat it like a magical offscreen transformation. Given their animosity to that era, it is actually kind of funny how that is probably where their concept of HRT is Magic is sourced from.

It was an audience participation / immersive show and I'm 90% sure the non-white people on the poster are stand-ins for the audience.

I'm not so sure about that...

Taqi Nazeer, Michelle Asante and Ash Rizi.webp

I'm not saying that there weren't non-white people in England in 1605, there was, apparently, a small black community of 25 individuals in London at the time, but Asian migration into England only really occurred in significant numbers the 1950s. The first Indian to live in Britain was a diplomat to the Mughal Empire who arrived in 1765, over a hundred years later, so certain casting choices seem somewhat improbable.

It was only a couple of years ago, that transphobia was the big crime, the first thing that people instantly accused her of, with everything else just being thrown in as later additions, to cement their case against the known horrible person, J.K. Rowling. Hell, it was only a few years ago that transphobia would be listed before misogyny and homophobia when these people were talking about prejudices in general, so serious was it as a form of bigotry.
I'm late and gay, but I think the reason they dropped that line is because no one ever truly cared, only pretended to. Normies have always viewed transphobia as essentially a form of homophobia. You must be discriminating against the men in dresses because you think they're icky, just like the men who kiss other men. Deep down, normies find said discrimination understandable (because they also find fags to be icky), even if they make a show of acceptance to seem like good people. They repeat the TWAW line just like they repeated "love is love" decades ago, because that's what they need to do so they don't get harassed and fired from their email jobs.

I believe that the lack of passionate response from the general public to "JK Rowling is an evil twansphobe!!1!" is why they've moved on to "Actually, she's a Holocaust denier." Holocaust denial is linked to antisemitism, and antisemitism is Serious Business. This is why they rewrite history to argue that "trans people" not only existed back then, but were actively targeted in the Holocaust, and why they use the phrase "trans genocide." Invoking Serious Historical Events is the only way they've found to make normies give a shit about a movement that would otherwise be a bunch of weird men and mentally ill women asking you to validate their sexual fetish/mental illness.

"Ackshually, science says sex is a spectrum" is their other go-to argument, but that doesn't get average people riled up the way calling people Nazis gets them riled up. If JKR were an antivaxxer, that would get specific people angry, but if your goal is to get most people angry, you need to invoke the most evilest things that have ever existed in the history of evil: Hitler and Nazism. It's a last, desperate maneuver from a movement that has always relied on riding the tails of other, more successful political movements.
