You call it an act of god, I call it an act of American Engineering and Ingenuity.
To Jeets, there is no difference.
I’ve already seen plenty of “BLOODY BOEING!!! WHY WE BUY THIS DANGEROUS AMERICAN JUNK?!?” over on the R/India subreddit.

Btw: For those fucking weirdos who are into gore, Indian “News channels” streams are showing uncensored, charred bodies being hauled out of buildings.

Indian fatigue.

A plane load of jeets was just prevented from entering the UK and hopefully more happen.

I've been thrown in zucc jail indefinitely because of a daily mail facebook post about this incident - "anyone mourning their deaths is free to join them in the wreckage"

2,000,000% worth it and I won't apologise for it.

Our friends on Airliners.net are suggesting that the RAT (Ram Air Turbine) was deployed. Basically, the RAT is an emergency propeller that drops down in case of engine failure to provide power for the plane and hydraulics. If you listen to the video of the crash you can hear the buzz of a prop right as it passes overhead, notably not the roar of the engines at takeoff power. Comparing it to another 787 RAT deployment it does sound quite similar.
Someone earlier noted the plane did not seem to use "all the runway alloted to them" but India has unreliable radar tracking at times hence this might just be an issue. If this is the case, what would it be? Double birdstrike is possible but unlikely, the engines would have had to suffer compression stalls. Could be like speedbird 38 where the fuel got clogged? Fuel line failure? It would have to be something extremely mechanical or sheer pilot retardation.

"There were 169 Indian, 53 British, 1 Canadian and 7 Portuguese passengers on board"
So, 223 pajeets and 7 Poortugals.
>a quarter of the passengers were British, Canadian, and Portuguese!
>literally every single person except for one 3-person family with the last name "Christian" were Indian

It's all so tiresome.

First video is from the Nepal crash in January 15th 2023.

Local of the second one since Combustion Engine identified the first.

EDIT: Because I am fucking retarded and didn't scroll down on the Twitter post, here's the second video on that tweet - xeet - whatever.

Shit man.
I poosted an article on it but the article ain't as good this one. (:_(

Can't believe I have to sweep it up myself instead of the jannies.

I posted something previously but decided to janny it myself. Again, if the RAT had deployed, what would have caused it? If someone is more knowledgeable do ask because I am scratching my head thinking what would cause both engines to cease immediately after takeoff.

Yea its just a radar issue id say, looking at videos nearly every plane uses the whole runway. But its hard to say what exactly could of happened. Could definitely be some dirty fuel. If you look between the main gear it really looks like the RAT is out. Plus it looks like the slats are out too.

Flaps look to be down in the configuration for takeoff too. Again people have mentioned they do not seem deployed but it might just be video quality. Considering they only got to about 625 feet, they more than likely would not have had enough time to really do anything. Sad really, being in a position where you sort of have to accept your fate.

From the footage it looks like death would have been unexpected to most of those on board - unless you were a pilot, crew or in a window seat you may not even have known the plane was descending, the average passenger just isn’t that aware of what is happening or what different noises mean. Hopefully everyone was calm and settling into the flight, or at worst expecting a return to the airport. There was too many children on board to hope for anything different. The plane looked like it was about to land, not upside down or falling from the sky, no need to panic or go screaming into the long night. Absolute tragedy and I hope they find out the cause asap, there’s a lot of pain ahead for the victims families - we may have known about the crash before they did and that’s just horrific. Imagine sitting down for a browse on the web after dropping your wife and daughter at the airport. The internet truly is a cursed place sometimes.
You can definitely feel the negative G when descending. When even a single engine fails you can immediately feel the aircraft fall like a brick.

If you lose the hydraulics do the flaps become loose?

I have a friend who's retarded about planes like this. 1000 hours in Microsoft Flight Sim, $1000's in home HID gear and fake cockpit parts. Has never seen the inside of a real cockpit. Every. Goddanm. Crash. this motherfucker pops up with his "Akschually..." shit and deepsplains how this happened based off some grainy ass picture and assumptions. Uses all sorts of acronyms and terminology as if I'm some seasoned pilot and know the first goddamn thing about any of it.

I can see I'll be hearing from him today as well.

India Today doing the needful with a livestream. Obviously not in English until the studio. The on-screen effects remind me of the graphics on a fucking slot machine.

Appears to be shots of the plane sticking out of the building interspersed with shots of firefighters nearby.

Some of the clickbait thumbnails on YouTube Live remind me why Total Journo Death is a thing, since we barely know anything:
