He didn’t even seem to be much of a detractor but the gaming peasant rabbit hole is odd.
The way he spazzes after every word he says, the weird mannerisms, the odd tone of voice like he’s constantly out of breath. The fact he films in a nasty broom closet. This looks like a dungeon or something. These days he films twitch streams like every day and puts his archives behind a paywall. Archives that get absolutely zero views.

Speaking of, someone in this thread said it earlier but the chances of someone at youtube manually reviewing Phil's channel and his actions are close to none. His channel has received I imagine tens of thousands of troll reports over the 17 years it's been active to the point that it's been put on a whitelist of sorts by YT most likely. He's received automated copyright strikes for his reaction stuff last year but no community strikes as far as we know, manual or automated. I'm saying this because recently someone's channel got temporarily shut down because they knocked over their mic while streaming and youtube interpreted that sound as "child abuse", but this guy has never received even a warning for blatant bullying or begging

He got a community strike for the 5/1 stream when all of his videos got unprivated a few years ago. There's definitely at least some level of review occurring for his content, though what frequency and whether it's a human or a bot is hard to determine.

I know the topic of Phil's retarded fashion sense comes up a lot. But one piece of clothing that I think he pulls off well is that flat cap he wore a couple of times when the hat streak was a thing. I get them not banning pewdiepie back in the day over the stationary statement or sssniperwolf for allegedly doxxing someone (idk I don't follow mharonic mouth dhrooling drama) since these people singlehandedly make YT millions and it's a business after all, but Phil is outright COSTING youtube money. His channel has 67k videos with most of them having under 1k views. Can you imagine how much storage space they're taking up or the bandwidth required to host his shitty 1440p 60FPS streams

He might have actually banned a legit long-time Argentinian fan, while insulting him for being Argentinian. And even if it is a troll, for instance by having hacked another Youtube account, it's really a weird spot to be in, since there's no way for DSP to prove or disprove if a channel is owned by a troll or whatever.

And the best thing is: it's all because of his own actions and behavior. DSP is the only Youtuber that I know who insists on converting Youtube memberships directly into cold, hard cash. Literally every other Youtuber would just thank the guy for the gifted memberships, and move the fuck on. But that's not how DSP rolls, since he breaks out the fucking calculator multiple times a stream to check how much any kind of contribution is worth.

The funny thing is how mad Phil gets over people trying to do this. It isn't that people aren't allowed to pay him for the ability to tell him what to do and which games to stream, it's that they aren't allowed to do it publicly in stream chat. He will gladly take money to play a specific game which is really apparent from things like Truck Sim where he dropped over 300 dollars on stupid peripherals. He wouldn't do that unless he had a behind-the-scenes whale promising to get him to the goal every stream for X number of streams. Same thing with Hades, Minecraft and a few other games where he only kept going because Guitarplayer or someone promised him 50 bucks every time.
