It blows my mind watching videos from non North American countries, these people, dozens of them aren't there to help, they are there to watch a spectacle.
I see you’re new to the lovely Indian subcontinent.

it’s something you’ll notice if you watch enough videos from India. Jeets seem to act like GTA NPCs. (And no, not the ones from GTA 5 who’ll start running if you beat someone up.)

They seem to spend much of their time just standing around, fiddling with a phone, shuffling back and forth.

Once you’ve seen enough videos of Indian car crashes or train accident, you’ll notice that so many of them seem to do this.

Lorry just slammed a family crossing the street? Prajeet and Shitjay just stand on the corner and stare. Prajeet takes out a phone to film while Shitjay walks back and forth.

Jeet fell off a moving train, smashing his head against a piece of concrete? Six Indians on the other side of the tracks just stare while they continue to take a shit.

Maybe many of them have the level of sentience of a PS3 era GTA NPC, maybe they’re just used to death, idk.

All I know is that it’s really kinda unnerving that there’s a billion of them, and I don’t want anymore of them here.

Jeets have a completely different outlook on the value of a human life. It's what comes when the society you're a part of thrives only the sheer power of an endless meat wave to throw at every problem.

Anyone who thinks we need more Indian “students” here in the west, really needs to read r/India for just a week.

Every single day there’s some horrific rape story. Usually several.

Today it was something about a man who had raped an infant dying in police custody.

The sole survivor casually walked to the ambulance. His brother got torn to shreds in the seat next to him. Has this ever happened before? This dude is going to be a millionaire by next week, selling spiritual courses to Western people.

Bro is the sole survivor of a massive plane crash and has to walk to the ambulance? Man being Indian fuckin sucks.

PIC RELATED…

Went to r/India just now to see if I could find the rape story I mentioned. And was met by ANOTHER horrific rape story.

So for the planefags, was this basically a classic stall?

Maybe I'm retarded, but if the plane was going too slow to fly on takeoff, wouldn't it have just rolled into the nearest brick wall? So could it have slowed after takeoff?

I believe that for midair stalls, the solution is to put the nose down for a bit, but they didn't have the elevation for that. I think I learned this during the last plane crash thread, or maybe the one before.

It's entirely possible that I don't know what I'm talking about.

Also, FlightRadar24 is posting on socials that the plane did use the entire runway.

Finally, there are laws in decent countries about what you can put in the approach/departure zone for a major airport so that if the poo hits the loo, deaths and injuries on the ground are minimized.

Schools? Absolutely not.

I know it's easy to meme the shit out of this because jeets, but passenger plane crashes always give me the feels. The knowledge that you're going down and about to die and there's nothing you can do about it is terrifying just to think about. At least most car crash deaths are more or less instantaneous.
Considering that indians will gladly livestream themselves getting hit by trains, completely unaware of the danger beforehand, I'm sure that as they were going down everyone in the cabin was calm as a hindu cow.

Has this ever happened before?
A four year old girl was the sole survivor of Northwest Airlines 255 which crashed after the pilots pulled the circuit breaker on the take-off config warning system due to it's tendency to frequently false alarm while taxing, on take off they did not have the flaps set. The aircraft barely made it off the runway, stalled out, hit a street light, skidded down a road on it's side, then hit a bridge and exploded.

Due a to quirk with the MD80 the stall warning system should normally have two different voices announcing a stall, but one of the speakers were on the same circuit as the take-off config warning system.

It's remarkably common in the rare cases of crash survivors. The only theoretically survivable crash is one where the airplane is at minimal speed and most of its energy is traveling horizontally parallel to the ground. So that massive hit of energy is being dispersed rather than transmitted straight to the squishy humans. He was sitting at an exit window. It likely popped or he popped it and came free of the plane before a hail of metal shredded him as it did his brother.

Socialisim in practice legally. Even if some retard jumps into a highway and runs into your car from behind, you're still responsible because the local gov doesnt want to deal with it so they slap you with a fine to pay the family anyways.

Also the line of thought from the judges "Well if you werent responsible for shit then why are you helping"?
If I remember correctly if you injure someone China with your vehicle (run them over, knock them off their bike etc) you are forced to pay for the injured person's medical bills for the rest of their lives. If you kill them however you only pay for the funeral so I'm the long term the funeral is much cheaper. There has been accounts of drivers coming back to finish off the person they hit. Also is why there are tons of insurance fraudsters in China jumping in front of people's vehicles pretending to be hit.

On the topic of planes I wonder what kind of compensation to victims families get and do the people on the ground get anything. Air India isn't exactly a high end airline and I don't know what India's policy is for shit like this.

No, if it was a stall you would have seen one side drop dramatically. It looks like the plane just ran out of energy to climb and slowly glided into the buildings. Apparently the mayday from the pilot said they had lost power and thrust.

Also, having a tail seat that puts you as far away from initial impact as possible also helps. Especially since depending on make and model? There's a lot of extra fuselage around you for things like the tail, stabilizer and on really old-school tri-jets? An entire engine and duct to sacrifice itself as a crumple zone.

A man was on the previous flight on that plane (from Delhi to Ahmedabad) and recorded a video showing how nothing was working on the plane. He was going to send it to Air India to complain but because of the crash, he's released it online.

Having no AC on an Indian plane sounds like a nightmare.
There was a girl I think an air stewardess who survived the plane blowing up and falling 20k feet with obviously no parachute
That was Vesna Vulović. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vesna_Vulovi%C4%87

With 156 fatalities, Northwest Airlines Flight 255 used to be the deadliest aviation accident to have a sole survivor (Cecelia Cichan). With the crash of Air India Flight 171, that has now changed, which proves yet again that 🇮🇳 is number one.
